@ rest of posters You want to cut down on snipers ? Cut down on pointless killing ? Wait until ammo and guns are scarce and zeds are many. Nothing more needs to be done.
-
Fantastic...

@DocWolf Gorka jacket is 100% waterproof.

Well it was said here 100 time over that there is too much ammo, too many guns and too much focus on military gear. So far nothing has been done about that. And how do you expect people not to be trigger happy when they have 5 x 75 drum mag ? Or 100 mosin rounds ? How do expect people not to be trigger happy when zombies are few and not a real danger ? Once ammunition is scarce, zeds are in hundreds or even thousands, when we actually will struggle to survive than the PvP will become less of a problem. There is no need for any humanity systems to punish killers. All we need to do is add actual survival factor to this game.

If there are ways to farm the good guy status than the system is useless. Which I am against altogether. Sure open you menu and take off the mask, effectively disarming yourself for few seconds while he can do whatever he wants to.
-
And what would the give you the good guy status ? Helping others ? Well than any bandit with few friends might just farm it, get a "this guy seems all right" status and than shoot other in the face because they were mislead into trusting him by this system.
-
That might just be the most retarded thing I read this month.

Phenomenon: People that constantly talk to themselves
General Zod replied to t1337dude's topic in General Discussion
Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes I need professional opinion. -
Well that's the problem with posts, we need sarcasm font. So many stupid post you can never be sure if it's sarcasm or stupidity.
-
And how does the game tell the difference between offensive and defensive kill ? What if some fresh spawn attacked me (which happens a lot) and I had to drop him ? All the game will see is a kill, and add to my bandit status. What if someone tires to rob me and I kill him not to lose all my stuff ? Unless you will add complex system to recognize who is the attacker, which I don't think it's possible. Your system like it was said above is black and white while in reality there is no black and white, it's all grey and the line between good guy and a bad guy is very thin.

Sarcasm is a foreign language to you isn't it.
-
Well people like to be self-righteous, they like to feel better because of their moral code. And it's clearly visible here on this forum. Everyday we see "heroes" paint themselves to be good, trust worthy reliable people not only in game but also in real life while at the same time trying to make bandits and killers look as bad as possible.

Would you like to see a snow zone and a radiation zone?
General Zod replied to HEV's topic in Suggestions
We should have snow anyway, you know since it's (or will be) winter in mainland Europe. -
Horrible FPS in cities after recent patches
General Zod replied to Mukaparska's topic in General Discussion
That would be a good argument if you haven't took money for your alpha from over 2 million people. In that case you might want be little more considerate of ability to play. -

General Zod replied to yazar8's topic in New Player Discussion
Well one solution would be to put reload and door opening on a separate fucking keys so you do not reload by accident. -

I don't know where the idea that making a fire with matches available is some sort of skill to be acquired by being "outdoors man" came from, but it's not hard at all. Starting fire without source of fire is a different story. Blood transitions, well yes that might be a problem. But on the other hand you can give yourself one, as long as you can see your veins, and have something to hang it on. Might require medical textbook but it's completely doable. Sewing might be tricky first few times, but it's not rocket science. \ I don't know where you are from since you are surrounded by functioning morons, but most people I know are capable of starting fires and basic clothes patching. As for shooting. Well while minor overtime improvements to things like sewing would be ok. How will you go about accuracy ? Based on number of shots fired ? Than people with their own servers fill farm it. -
@dashender7 Good points everywhere. Except for one thing, I said they have advantage in case of an apocalypse where everyone is out for themselves. Why ? Because they will not fall victim to people pretending to need help, only to stab you in the back the second you look away. Sure they will most likely not rebuild civilization, they probably won't even create a safe zone because they will just kill one another. But from a point of surviving on their own or in a small group, yes they do have an advantage over normal people with compassion. Because of lack of the qualities you mentioned that normal people value so much, they will not risk their lives to help others. On the other hand who knows, maybe they would create some twisted civilization with survival of the fittest. We never had an apocalypse so you can't be sure.
