What evidence ? We only had small cases of SHTF, we can't know what will happen when entire civilization collapses worldwide.

They weren't shooting because there was a lot of things to steal and your life didn't depend on it. But if your life depends on those few cans of food and there is another guy who wants them too, you'll kill him just to survive another day. And like I said, riots caused by natural disasters or small scale society collapse will eventually end, things will go back to normal. Which is not a case in DayZ.

Yes you are. Player driven means, player driven, not NPC given quests and items. It changes the basic concept of how we get the things we need to survive.

Social realism ? Based on what ? Did we have an apocalypse in the past to know how people would act ? Or do you just base your post based on today's moronic social media addicted society ? Where you can approach a complete stranger and have a chat ? In case of society collapse every stranger is a danger to you. And there is one more thing. Normally some people would try to restore society, wait for the infected to die out of starvation, exposure or whatever else. In DayZ there is no coming back, your in endless hell.

You really just underestimate the pleasures you can get from KoS. NPC would be killed just so that you can't get quests from them. You know make if griefy. No it would not. It's meant to be player based story and interaction (or lack of it). Adding NPC that give you things for quest would ruing the game.

750 will be more than enough for OC'ed CPU and two high end GPUs I got 550 and I could throw in another HD7950, admittedly I would be pushing it but it would work. That being said PSU is not something that you save money on. Not just power, but more importantly A BRAND. Reliable one.
