Wrong, the oppositions comes because we understand the following : - Game is nowhere near finished and most "game play" issues come from that. You can't fix it, you have to wait. - Survival elements are only now being added, so there is nothing to make players struggle to stay alive - Zombies are few so danger here either. - Weapons and ammunitions are over-abundant So if you combine no challenging survival, no danger from zeds and too much weapons, people will kill because there isn't much left to do. Most people won't launch the game to hike the wood or sit around the camp fire, you either have to be a survival hermit for that or have a really boring life. I may not want this game to be pure PvP but sure as hell I don't want it to be a hiking simulator or Whyherro123s farmland where you get a job on a farm. And the karma crowd fails to understand that. They act as if the game is 95% finished and not much will change. While in fact it's the opposite. Pretty much everything will change, assuming devs stick to making it a survival game. -

Yes it is, I don't need games permission (aka timer) to go get a drink or take a piss. Dying is bad because you loose all your stuff. And while now you might say well dying matters me none. In a future when the game is like you said "want it to be all that it can be" you will be able to get sick, where warm clothes and some medicine will be valuable. Dying will be actually bad. As for legit players, the whole discussion started because of new spawns who attack geared players because they have nothing to to lose, as opposed to legit players who do not do that, And yet you guys instantly came up with solution that will hurt legit players. There this is how legit players will be punished, because they will be treated equally to those actually guilty. As for getting back to your body, well how about being spawned far away ? How about when they add stamina system you might not reach it in time ? What is really annoying is : You want to fix problems with some harsh restrictions, but like you said, we aren't even supposed to play this game, so why hell are you getting upset with current abusable mechanics ? Most of the problems that you guys cry about will be gone as the development goes further. You contradicted yourself here beautifully, by saying that this is just testing and we aren't even supposed to play while at the same time trying to fix game play issues. Way to go. So yes at some point death will be a serious setback. Without your silly timer. So stop trying to put in some harsh restrictions simply because IN AN ALPHA there are problematic design decisions. How is that a survival ? It is not. Nor is this a finished game so why don't you guys calm down and wait for the game to at least reach damn beta before you whine on everything ?

Yea we are supposed to die from bugs, but not to die from bugs and take 15 minute break each time we die. Well why don't we do actual permadeath ? You die no more DayZ for you. Ever. Serious game, wow. You know what's serious ? Life is. Not games. They aren't meant to replace your life. Dying is not always caused by foolish mistakes unless you ran off the roof. As for a person who's signature states "Don't ruin my experience!" is a horrid reason to justify ruining someone else's experience...." You seem pretty hell bent on doing exactly that. First with you farming jobs and epic quests for AKM now with that. Yet another small problem that you people are trying to solve with assfucking legit players.

I know what you mean, and this is I responded to, they won't fix most bugs until everything is in place, they will only fix the bigger ones.

Even if people die once to bugs, waiting 15 minutes on top of loosing their gear will piss them off.

Yes lets add 15 minutes spawn timer, lets see what happens when people die from bugs or invisible zombies. This forum will drown in shit from all the shitstorm that will come. Not to mention the griefing factor, making people wait that long if I kill them just to make them miserable.

You don't fix things if you are going to add new features, because those new feature might break something while being added and you end up in add / fix / add / fix loop . You add all the features and functions and than you fix all.

You do realize that all those who now KoS for fun will than KoS to be on top ? A lot of online games are competitive by nature, if you give them ranking system on number of kills they will turn this game into pure pvp. It will make even more people kill. What ? No it won't be scary, or challenging or even realistic. It will be a stupid system that will allow others to just find people and ruin their game. You can't have multiple characters in DayZ -
Hard to say since we have very few features now.

The idea of stats ranks and identification is bad on it's own. But the idea that others can find what server I'm on on some website is just plain stupid. Griefing will go through a roof. -
