Am I the only one under the impression that this place is a ghost town when it comes to a presence of mods and devs ? We have two posts advertising porn for few days now and nothing happened.

I don't think in this case "on behalf of" means that it's the BI that requested your ban directly, but rather you were banned for breaking the rules they set up. It's like when a debt collecting agency is after you, they collect the debt on someones behalf. I don't know if you broke the rules or not, but I doubt BI requested your ban directly.

The last thing this game needs is tanks. Also given how bad vehicles work in dayz I'd say a tank would classify as a weapon of mass destruction. I got 3 stashed in barrels in some undisclosed locations, 60 round mags included.

Surely this will be extended, I don't see why would BI try and kill it's own playerbase.

Interesting, the community server I'm playing on now has no rain or overcast at all. Didn't know that the only weather options are Spain or UK.

You go through all the effort of becoming a fit and healthy survivor only to be killed by someone camping in a bush wearing full ghillie just to grief you, or better yet by a hacker. While it would add a feeling of progress to the game and satisfaction from surviving it would also add to the fuck it I'm going to play something else when you die.

Can we get a folding shovel that we could carry with us to make accessing our hidden storage ? Regular shovels aren't that common considering that with how rural chernarus is there would be shovels everywhere and the full size one is too cumbersome to carry around. I'm talking about something like this : Now obviously it would need to be actually able to fold, and if that's too much hard work can we at least get the option to make the existing shovel shorter with a saw ?

You got shot that's what happened. Your body will most likely despawn before you get to it. Also what do you hope to find out from the post mortem ? Walk up to the body, press F to chose examine and get a message, hmmm yes there is a bullet hole here.

16 slots and it weights 6 kg with is A LOT for a wooden shovel, metal shovels weight half of that.

I know this is a serious post, but there is so many memes I could post to describe devs reaction to reading 3 long posts pointing out probably still not even close to a complete list of what's wrong with this game. On that note, you can't shoot out of the broken windows on top of the fire fighter tower.

To be fair when sitting down with yellow temp the hydration gauge will alter between one and two down pointing chevrons, so I think it does something.

I noticed today when cooking a lot of food on my own wearing full pristine hunting clothes (best insulation) and during a sunny day that after a while of red temperature my health started to go down.

Which is the problem, a lot of people are complaining about this game being a battle royale with some survival elements, while devs just add more and more guns because it's too much hard work to add other features or fix existing problems. And those guys could be used to make new items of clothing, a working boat to allow travel to prison island, further expand base building, add non lethal weapons, the list goes on. But nah here's another assault rifle no one asked for.

This whole game is spaghetti code. Everything other than adding more gunz in low priority for devs.

You can't have no arms zombies either, since if you end up having your arm severed you're going to bleed out in minutes and no one is going to perform surgery on infected. What I'd like to see more is those crackhead zombies that do these little bursts in random directions including a military variants. They are a right pain to get around and would make a great addition to the game.

With current ridiculous water and energy consumption adding sweating is going to force you to live by the water wells. The cold wet problem in your article is referring mostly to wetness that's not from sweating. Also in real life I could just make a longer stick and sit further away from the fire or just a smaller fire so that I can achieve a thermal comfort, neither option being available in the game. Also what we need in the game is more waterproof clothing, military and hunting options for that should be available. I have a lovely set of hunting clothes which are both water and wind proof, you could open hose on them and all the water will just roll off. In fact this a great idea for devs for next couple of patches. Instead of adding another rifle that literally no one needs or asks for start adding things like waterproof clothing or even additional slots for base layer.

Stats for hours and distance are shown on the log in screen and don't work very well. Some community servers have a little list on the left bottom of the screen where it says who killed who with what and from how far.

Every game has cheaters, the problem with dayz is that being killed by a cheater is more annoying. If I get killed by a cheater in a regular FPS I lose nothing, I can just leave the match and join a different one or come back later. In dayz when some cheater kills you and teleports your gear to himself from miles away you end up losing all the time you put into surviving. Like in my case when we spent 3 days going to the contaminated zones only to be killed by a hacker next day when we logged in. And I know it was one because my mate logged in few seconds before and got killed instantly, when I spawned less than 5 seconds after him right next to his body only the weapons from his shoulders were missing and I sure as shit won't believe that someone who looted his body in person took the M16 from his shoulders and left the two vss in his backpack. So I grabbed what I could from his backpack and got shot when the logout timer was at 7. That was when we decided we had enough, and moved onto a pretty much a vanilla community server with more stamina, more loot and increased base resistance. With active admins I at least can hope that the hacker will be banned before he gets to me.

Maybe of the some of the infected were working around heavy machinery and they experienced hearing loss from it while others had naturally good hearing.

Fair enough, I'm not sure if I ever encountered that myself. But then I had cases where my mates were adamant we were fired upon and I couldn't hear the shots or the bullet impact only to run into the shooters few minutes later proving they were right.

But light and sound do not travel at the same speed, why would they be synchronised ? If you want to conceal your shots time it right, no easy mode.
