Yes. From what I can remember; it spawned very early on but, they had to remove it from the game for copyright stuff.

I always close doors behind me; coming and going. I also always take guns and strip parts as I run from a building, dropping them where they won't be found. I know servers will reset but, If I am playing for any length of time and hit Military loot spawns first; I clean the place out of weapons just the same. It's a dick move but, there are so many Bandits out there. I lone wolf all the time and make it a point to make a Bandits job harder.

My rig is ancient by Technology standards (~5 years old).... I've done everything I could to upgrade what I have. Here are the specs: 16GB Corsair DDR2 RAM Socket 1366 Intel Core 2 Quad (they call it an i7) @ 3.2Ghz 2 Wd Black 500GB drives in Raid 0 1 EVGA GTX 680 SSc 4GB video card Corsair HX1000 Power supply Silverstone FT02 Case I have everything on Max settings and I have no issues running the game (outside of the current bugs). If I were the OP; I would take a long hard look at that Graphics card. Not trying to start a fanboy war. Look at the facts. Nvidia trumps anything you can buy in the AMD/ATI cards.

It's funny. people talk realism and ballistics in a game.... They talk about the Mosin vs SKS vs M4. In reality, anyone shot by any of the 3 is not getting up after one round hits center mass. @ 300 meters; all are deadly. If not for the Hydro static shock of bullet impact then certainly from an exit wound. In the case of the M4's 5.56 ammo. The bullet it very lightweight and therefor collapses and tumbles inside; acting like a saw ripping through tissue and organs. Now..... Ballistics and gun behavior is being touted.... and while the in game physics is a fair representation; it does not nor will it ever match perfectly. There are far too many factors.... as many as there are different types of ammunition. I do not know (or claim to) how many of you have actually shot and killed anything in RL. Well; I shot and killed a Coyote from ~250 yards with my Mini-14 (5.56 ammo). 1 shot placed right behind the right shoulder. I was shocked when I saw what happened next..... The bullet had completely blown off the leg on the exit and left a massive hole. For anyone to say that the 5.56 does not have enough energy to take anything out is just completely full of Beans.

Can confirm. Was running Silky smooth before this patch. FPS dropped and Laggy as hell. Game stutters now. Run 15 steps. stop jump forward 4 more. Ugh. I know Dean and his Team are on top of this and other problems. More so than any other developer has ever been in my experience. Just killed gameplay for me with Todays patch. Hope it gets sorted soon. I've got nearly 50 hours into this Character and I refuse to let stuttering be the death of me. When this one Dies. It will be by my own hands or those of a Bandit with a well placed shot.

You would have lost it if somebody KOS'd you anyway. The game IS in Alpha and Dean even said for people not to buy it yet. It IS frustrating at times but you need to look at the bigger picture. You spent the money on the game and therefor had to know what you were in for with Alpha. I've died and lost gear more often than not. They know it's a bug; certain servers are not connecting to the hive. In the end; it's your choice. Uninstall is certainly your option.

I would just like to know who Killed me..... This way I could track them down and stuff and Axe in em; more than once and on any server they go to.Just to see how they like constantly being killed. Every single encounter I've had has ended with someone dead. I trust no one anymore!! Seriously..... Knowing the name of the person hiding in a bush 300M out would be great. I'd at least know the name of the scared lil bitch that sniped me. It's a game..... A game that means when you Die; your gear is lost. In the world of games; It's hardcore. I normally don't get angry when I die. But when I'm picked off and there was no rhyme or reason and I never saw it coming!? That gets my blood boiling.

I have found the I end up "lone wolf"ing it A LOT!!. Every time I try to be nice; I get killed. I guess I play as live and let live. I doubt I would KOS anyone... Hell; I have not killed anyone yet. I know it's just a game but, I try to play as I live in RL. If I need to put someone down I WILL but, it's not something that I look for. I wish there were servers for people who wanted to play as realistic as possible. I find it hard to believe that at the end of the world; all of you folks would KoS every person you come across. For me; if I see a person. I will call out Friendly and ask if they are as well. I'll wave and tell them to not come closer. If they need help. I will drop a few things and tell them to go prone while I back away. So far, this works....mostly. It has failed enough for me to no longer hesitate to shoot. If a person can comply with a simple request; they live. if not; they die. So I guess a time and place certainly holds up....

I have to say first and foremost..... I have a great respect for Dean and the rest of the Dev team. Look at Dayz in it's entirety and then decide if it is the game for you..... even in it's current state. I played through the Mod version quite a bit and I have to say that the alpha is coming along quite well! Yes, there are bugs and yes there will be. I bought the game because I wanted to support the Devs and I want to see the game grow into what will be something great! You know..... This Genre did not even exist and now there are tons of games doing things either like it or close to it. I'm honestly astounded that this has morphed into it's own game. Cheers! I love how Rocket says not to buy it just yet. For that reason alone people should be in line saying "shut up and take my money" LMAO. the "father" of the game says not to buy it. Funny stuff.
