Hi, I think you should be able to bandage yourself with more items like armbands, balaklavas, burlap sacks, leather etc. I also suggest that you should be able to tear down alot more clothes into rags, at least with a knife. An improvement in realism would also be the chance to fail in stopping the bleeding and having to try it multiple times. Think it would improve gameplay and shouldnt be to hard to implement i guess. found a fix that worked for me: Verify Integrity of Game Cache in steam showed some damaged files after the update, reloaded them and it works.

getting this too. tried every kind of server ( privat, public hives, 1pp, 3pp ). get this instantly after battleeye is loaded ( correctly - also reinstalled it with no changes ). firewall/avira antivirus turned off. Everything worked fine until 0.5. Edit: restet of my config also didnt work ( deleted Documents/Dayz + Documents/DayZ Other Profiles )

true, noone of us knows about scripting alot, so maybe the scheduler is not adjustet right, but we left it vanilla ( beside turning the vanilla messages into our messages, like most servers ) . Dont really know if there are restart warnings, because in 8/10 cases, the server crashes before the 4 hours. If persitence is turend on, the server often wont even run for 5min. And ecpm-rcon worked way further then april. If you dont experience these problems, im happy for your server, for us, they are real. btw: you guys realize restart more than every 4 hours is against the rules and that this is the official forum? ;)

just to say: [GER]the-munich-players.com Gameserver is shutting down because none of our admins are willing to pay for a server we can´t really administrate. BEC keeps crashing the server since August. 3rd Party Rcon-Tools are not allowed now. We are not able to kick players, not even directly on fragnet.net (our now ex-provider). We can´t even warn players before restart. And i´m hearing this on a lot of good public gameservers lately. If we dont get the tools to build a community, why should we rent a server? Just to advertise our clan in the Servermassage? Not for 60€/month.

no, because: both military night-vision and thermal scopes make as less sense as 3 military airports ,2 military bases and 2 military outposts in such a small territory as chernarus. not to mention guns and ammo in every 3rd civil house. Or policestations in villages with 20 inhabitants. Also, if they spawn very rare,you would provoke more serverhoppers trying to loot them. If they are not rare, you wouldnt be able to play at night without one. if it needs to be in game because hall & co needs to steal even more pseudo-soldiers from ea and activision, i would prefer the most harmless solution to lore and gameplay: nightvision binoculares, cheap and common in hunting. But i think there are things to add first anyway, like normal binoculares. and i agree, sniping is to easy. they should add wind to ballistics or reduce damage on long ranges. geetings

wohoo. crashed 5 times in a row 20 seconds after connecting. hat to wait minutes to connect each time. and while ideling after crash, my char got killed at the fith time -.- dayz never crashed before -.-

what about some kind of individualising your outfit? something like spraying with stencyls made of paper on shirts/helmets with spraypaint? stencyls could be something like the individual emblems in bf4 or just letters. clans could have a logo, medics could have a red cross, individual players could have theire names on it.
