You dont have to explain things to me. I follow development of this "game" since mid 2013. There were hundreds of delays. I was disapointed numerous times.

I dont give a frag when gets Beta as long as they give us monthly updates with new content! Ups, we have 3 months between updates? Shit!

Throwing is one of the worst things in dayz. I don't remember my character ever throw anything as it should.

Its all good in theory. But...all that needs a lot of tweeking. Weather is always sunny and birds chirp and its all like walk in park on sunday afternoon. Nights should be darker and lighting improved. Its lighter in buildings than outside. Zombies/infected are terible and more comical than scary with their funny walk and low damage and overall stupidity (I wish they would bang on doors and eventually break them). They need more impruvements. Map is beatifull, especially new towns u north. I played dayz mod recently and I remember more trash on roads, more wrecked cars, tanks, BMPs and trucks everywhere, especially in military locations.

@Tigermonk shit, I remember what mod or server was but there were survivor camps that really looked like survivors made them. Few of those big tents, those market place buildings with hanging meat and logs and car vrecks as fence.

I would add survivor camps in forests, with few tents and maybe atempts to baricade a farm or something like that.

Discussion: Would the community at large hound the Devs less if did more low key interactions on the forums?

There were lots of good ideas like devs forum section, devs streams (which were huge failure IMO), video blogs (ones made by Rocket were great!) but it was all abandoned. Its like they dont care any more. Yes, there are lots of idiots comenting with fouse language but devs should ignore them concetrate on part of comunity that still cares about this game. I see devs from some mods (yes makers of MODS) that have regular streams of map development or creating items. I just cant belive that team of size of this cant make time to make short video blog with interviews with devs, tour around offices, small sneak peak of up coming stuff..... Im just very disapointed with all this... Edit: good old days -

There wont be NPCs in vanilla game, and it was stated 20 times by devs. But I hope they leave option for that for moders. I played on servers with at least 30 different versions and types of NPCs both in DayZ mod and Arma 3. Some were dumb, some were boring mission AI that spawn around crashed heli and disapear in middle of firefight because script timed out. But there were interesting AI patrols, that patrol around map and interact with zombies and players. Some were hostile, some were friendly survivors. Once I was trapped in tent on Balota AF and about to die when I heard shots and someone killed all zombies that were after me. There was NPC in hero skin, he saluted and went on his way. I really hope that devs leave option for NPC, because there are great posibilities.

You are right there. I didnt play HIZI but I played lot of Epoch, and carrying cinder blocks in backpack was so dicusting. We need to gather materials as close as it could be done in real life (you can carry only few boards at a time, and maybe one log. But you can load lots of materials in V3S. Also, there should be ready materials like wooden planks, tools, nails (there are woodmills on map) but those places should be filled with zeds or players. Im dreaming of dayz where you have to spent days to get good gear.

We need more comunication from devs. Cant they see we are frustrated?? OK, progress is slow, there are problems... but why is so hard to write few tweets per day (they have 5-6 lead devs) like: "Problems with "this" or "that" but working on it" or post screenshot, or some pics they are working on. Other games devs have way better comunication with smaller community. I think its not OK to keep community in dark for weeks.

I wish base building will be something like on that concept art. Wooden walls or sandbags (ofcourse every sandbag has to be filled manualy), few tents, small shed and simple watch towers.

Then you dont build big base. Then you make stash in middle of woods. I hope that base builing will be detailed and "realistic" (not like Epoch9.

Every update comes after series of experimental patches and updates, I know that. I play every experimental since .3something. I just hope that not entire team is working on render and UI and that they made foundations for new weapons and vehicles (Škoda van can use same wheels and other parts, and behave somilar like sedan). Saiga probably has same animations like AK.....

I really hope this update will be big. Not only render and new UI but with big changes to map and new weapons, cars and items.

After three years of development of this game, man would think that devs would work faster. I guess they slow down over time. Btw, render was announced for February last year

New infected spawning system is great news ( if implemented in this update). It's last week of February, what are chances to see one update "on time"? I know it's not written in stone but I'm tired of devs postponing every update.

I have nothing against adding new guns and items and clothng. Just give us something to spend ammo at (other than players on coast), let infected damage our gear again, make us to go to high zed population to get good stuff.

I had no problem with hunger in .55. I ate ton of apples. Zombies were great, took me 15 minutes to get trough Stary

Zombies. Many of them. Plus maybe new car, new back pack, new weapons (something to search the map for). New location. New animal.

Plus: - more pistols less rifles and SMGs - make canned food less common and make/vegetables meat spoil/rot after 2 days (in game) - make stamina more important - make heavy objects really heavy (barells, wheels, building materials...), that will make vehicles more important - and more infected, I wouldnt mind even DayZmod spawning system (maybe increase spawn distance)
