You must make fire indoors, while warming up take off your clothes. I survived two hypothermic status and then gave up and changed server. Its boring siting in front of fire all evening.

I think those shiping containers should be interactive. Maybe in future we could either take them apart and load in regular V3S or load them on V3S chasis truck. Of course, it would require a team of players (driver, loader, and one or more to fend off zombies). There will definetly be basebuilding mods (there is base building on pirated rusian servers). Question is how good they will be. Will they be "realistic" like your concepts or "penis-like" sky scrapers made from 15 logs. I would definetly like to have option to actualy have things to do for weeks or even months. Serius base building should take long. -

I held PKT once (detached from APC). That thing is really heavy and you cant sprint with it on your shoulder. Back in dayz mod, some machine guns didnt let you carry backpack in same time. Anyway, it will be huge pain in the ass to load one box of ammo just to spend it in 6-7 seconds. It would be cool if it could be mounted on vehicles.

I played for hour or so. Didn't find anything useful in Berezino. Then rain started and I quickly got freezing and hypothermia status. Finding place to start fire was a bitch. I finally decided to try on hospital roof. I started fire, took all wet clothes off but didn't get warm at all and died in two minutes. This update will mostly be about finding place to warm up.

Like there was any update without flaws. Since April 2012 every update has bugs.

There are snow efects in Arma 3, I saw snow flakes falling on Isla Duala map. But they dont stay on ground. There were hills covered in snow. There is also Winter Chernarus map but I dont like it.

I shot PAP once, but with blanks. My platoon was hastly gathered to be makeshift hnor guard on some veteran`s funeral. Rifles were preserved in storage (not sure if corect term) and we spent half of day cleaning oil for 15 seconds of shooting.

Next topic should be on OT-14 Groza. That thing is awesome. And lot to discuss with its modularity.

Am I wrong or this rifle will be the same as Winchester 70 except for detachable magazines? I doubt it will use new type of ammo. Anyway, Id rather have weapons like that than SAW.

These map changes will bring back NEAF era emptiness of the west.

I dont think there will be much weapons on tents in the east, maybe Gorka and Ttsk jackets and pants, maybe vests and atachments. What I like more are lots of crashed cars on checkpoints, especially in Kamenka and west from Lopatino, because they spawn good loot and less anoying than to loot same empty houses over and over again. I just hope more parts will spawn in/on wrecked cars in future. -

Does anyone else thinks Scorpion should be held like pistol and have one handed running animations? It's pistol in Arma 2/3.

That is what experimentl is all about. I hate when KoS pricks come to experimental and camp NWAF or kill people next to camp fire. I wish devs could make one or two whitelisted servers for dedicated forum crew.

We will soon have moaning: "I cant find anybody for PVP, coast is empty, NWAF is empty, Mishkino is empty kmeeeeeeeeee, game sucks, kmeeeeeee, not fun kmeeeeeee" I like how these changes will slow down game and move towards "campaign" type of gameplay. People wont spawn and run to Mishkino for PVP 3 or 4 times in one evening. If all these new camps would be filled with zombies, or well hidden in woods (like somer camps where no one goes), it will take you few days to travel across entire map and get really good military gear. Edit: Id also like to see more abandoned equipment in new camps, like: rusty tanks, trucks (other then old Arma 2 model), crashed helis (maybe new model for soviet crash site and spread old Mi-8 as stationary). -

There was civil war in Chernarus before infection. Even Russia and USA were involved. Abandoned equipment would rust and decay by now. I think story line of Arma 2 is placed in 2010. In one dayz submod road between Cherno and Balota was paacked with abandoned cars in front of road block and it looked great in combination with ground fog. -

I copy/pasted title from reddit. Im just too lazy. Thing is, we wont be able to get best military loot on tw locations. We will be frced to visit 5 or more locations to complete full gorka/ACOG M4/silenced FNX. -
Cant wait to see what will updated NWAF look like. I really is out of date. Id like to see more wrecked military vehicles around map. Maybe they can borow some from Arma 3 team.
