Full lenght M16A4. With ACOG and bipod, its half way to DMR. It would be great for taking down zeds from 300-400 yards while your team loots big town. -

Also 40 round mag for 5.45 weapons. That combined with AKSU74 would be gret for clearing rooms. -

No one wants L85 back in DayZ. It wold be cool to carry it and have to clean it after you fire 50-60 rounds :) I wish they add more AK variants, and Kobra sights. RPK, AKSU-74, AK-107, super rare AN-94... I miss G36C SD from Namalsk, I killed thousads of zombies with it. But most of all I miss FAL. -
Like 8 times. Not one riders jacket lasts more than 25 minutes. But wool coat can survive for days.

boohoooo...I dont want take a risk!! Off course it will be dangerous. And you will have to work as team. One in team will be mechanic, others will be suport. If you dont have team, then you will have to go to popular hiding locations and steal someones car.

No one is thinking about tools! Yes they spawn everywhere now, but once vehicles are in game I bet we wont be able to find pliers or wrench anywhere!

Maybe they will be made like new crashed V3S truck. You can open and close doors, and even hood. Maybe we will be able to close doors on them as well, and hide inside. Maybe they even go so far that we could take parts of from them (bateries, radio, maybe even PKM!!) -

Will we eventually get different reloading 'tiers'?

Reloading in this game is so messed up, and I hope they fix it. First, we need different animations for loading lose rounds and loading rounds in clip/speedloader. Now there is same animation for reloading SKS. Second, why the f*ck do we need to drag ammo trough inventory to weapon and then confirm "Load"?? No, I dragged 20 rounds to SKS just to chamber one, and 5 zombies are chasing me. We should be able to reload lose rounds with "R", but only under condition they are in "front inventory" - shirt/jacket/vest (like in mod). If you arrange ammo in your pockets before going to action, you can reload without opening all clothes you have -
Its not Mad Max if you ad bull bar on front or replace window with metal plate.

I want vehicles, not right now but maybe in september, when 64-bit server start working fine. They have pretty good art dept and I want to see what they can do. Also, I want vehicles to be detailed and usefull as posible. Like: - shooting from vehicles - ading metal plates, spikes and barb wire on vehicles - detailed damage and maintance - detailes like driving players in back of pick-up truck and posibility for them to fall out - realistic cargo system ( when you load building material, wheels or parts in truck you can see cargo in back) - variety of civilian and military vehicles

Dayz Standalone is lacking a huge core piece in my eyes.

I didnt read other replys, but I know what is bothering you. DayZ is game without final goal, there is no end game. End game is when you get bored and delete it forever. Its been like that from day one of mod. It will allways be repeatable circle: spawn-loot-maybe kill somebody-loot-find vehicle-loot for parts-maybe kill somebody-loot......... Its just game of that type. Either you like it or you dont. Nothing they put in game can change that. On some mods/servers there are "missions" and AI, but also get boring fast. Only mod that has some kind of story is Origins mod, with Salvation city. But I never played long enough to get there. -
Once the tents are functional, you will see how popular locations from mod become popular again

Lets imagine animals will be hungry (they wont ear zombies because of their decease) and scared. They get atracted by fire and smell of meat you are cooking. Isnt that reason enough to atack you. Wolf or bear behind every other tree would be stupid. -
Adding new towns doent mean they will destroy forests. Land is already cleared, and most of the roads are placed. If you check on google maps, northern high way and town and villages around it are copied from real area in Czech republic. Even tree lines are placed on same place like in real-life area. New towns will bring more trafic to them and less wondering in woods, so your camps will be safer. Once we stop playing PvP deathmatch and more surviving (and when vehicles are in game) you will need more suplies from towns. Not food and drink, but bateries, knives, ropes, gas canisters, jerycans, car parts, ammo, medical suplies. All the things you cant find in wilderness. Hopefully, towns will be swarmed with zombies, so every trip to town to get suplies will be real risky adventure. More town you have to check for sparkplugs or engine oil, more you things you have to do other than siting in front of tent and chewing boar stakes.

well, that will suck giant zombie ass!! I think they sold enough copies so they dont need to flatter CoD kids. In mod, you had to build your carachter for days, sometimes weeks. I think they should go that way. Where is the fun in getting all you need in half hour. -

on topic: do you think base building will be epoch type (you insta-create wooden planks and carry all material in backpack) or maybe like in Forest, where you cut down and build one log at time. -

Its a video game! I think they can change some things in animal behavior to make game more fun. I would like that bears (wolves, panthers, wild dogs...if added) atack both players and zombies if they come close to them. Imagine this situation: you shoot bear with few .22 in the ass, just to make him mad and bleeding and you make him chase you in Novodmitrovsk. He will aggro every zombie in town and it will be epic fight and it will buy you some time to loot important buildings in peace. -
You can find one or two, here and there.

OK, did writing that report took away 15 working hours from every employee in BI??? Dont think so. Why was so hard to do these sort of reports earlier? They could make them every two weeks, even shorter. btw, Torchia didnt say anything about SVD :( -
I gave up on Riders jacket. It brings bad luck to me. I lost 5 or 6 of them due to zombies. All in cursed willage of Pustoshka. Im not going there untill persistant items are working.
