Hey I think I recognize you, where you in Elektro a few days ago and shot a guy with a Cowboy hat, who came back to get his stuff and you let him, that was me!

My friend and I where sniping at the docks in Berezino and after taking out three hostile targets, a lone female bambi who I had seen earlier running around, ran right at two of the three bodies laying there, so not to risk her finding us, I shot her just before she got to the bodies, later on I felt as if I should have just let her grab some loot and scare her off with a few "Close-shots" so that she had a chance at survival.

I like being by myself, seems when I get into a group of people, I get killed, not to mention being by myself, I don't have to worry about some team member or clanmate doing something stupid and getting us caught and killed... I don't lonewolf because I think I'm "Hot shit", I do it because, being in control is what I like, and being in a group increases the chances of being shot, or maybe I've played with too many idiots..

I believe a lot of people use "Bandit" as a blanket term for anyone who isn't friendly and resorts to shooting on sight or killing on sight, anyone seen to kill another player no matter the reason, is labeled as a "Bandit" its come down to people justifying killing another player by insisting that the one they killed was a "Bandit" a lot of "Heroes" that I know won't bother to see if someone is truly a "Bandit", and will kill them if they are wearing something "Bandity" such as a mask of any sort, or are in a spot such as sniper hill or on top of an apartment building ect. I believe that the whole labeling playstyle as either/or needs to be put to rest, most people will react to the situation however they feel, that's where you will see the friendly survivor or the person who shoots firsts asks questions later, or whatever, we then join clans/communities that fills its ranks with people with similar interests while playing DayZ.

There certainly is more loot on Higher populated servers, it just has legs that's all... /end sarcasm? But no not really, but places where spawns are frequent will have less loot because of the amount of people passing through.

Your lucky man, usually when I shoot someone unconscious they just leave the game, I've yet been given the opportunity to know who shot at me or talk to the guy/gal while they're laying unconscious, usually just get a Unknown Entity when checking their pulse, guess most people who lose a firefight or whatever just ragequit the server to protect their identity...

I don't go by a lot of rules when I am playing DayZ, but if there is one that I ALWAYS follow it's, "If it squeeks, kill it" preferably with fire.

I read it all, I agree with most of your points, but as much as I HATE saying it and I really do HATE chiming in with the "Hurrdurr Alphhurrr" crowd, that's what it is... I think DayZ is a long way from being a finished product and even then I believe it won't be "Finished" because there will always be something that needs to be worked on or fixed, and with the newer survival games that will be coming out, mainly H1Z1, I pray that DayZ's devs really put the pedal to the metal and keep their playerbase here and not running like a horde to a different game because of what this lacks.

To me having a working Mic and using it in this game is a MUST, maybe not for In-game communication, but communicating with your friends/squad in TS or Skype or whatever. Like communication in this game is very useful and having to type something out only leaves you vulnerable to attacks or being seen, when you can simply press one key/button and speak while your doing something else is a lot easier, and some say well, " I avoid people, so not having a mic is alright ". Well unless you play in some remote place on the map or on an empty server your going to bump into someone and having a mic is going to save you a lot sooner than typing something out, and it keeps your name private as long as you don't allow people to get close enough to check your pulse, which shouldn't be possible but, hurrdurr alphurrr...

Firstly I am not trying to be a dick here but... Why is it that people insist that "Their" playstyle is the only way to play DayZ, the zombies aren't actually a threat, and the only time they are, is when I am trying to stalk someone and one magically appears to attack me. And no I'm not advocating for KoS, I'm simply saying that there is NO right/wrong way to play DayZ, that's what makes it interesting, if we where all friendly and stuck together and only killed zombies and animals it would become quiet the snooze fest of a game.

It doesn't matter what you wear in this game, it will all get you murdered. However I spend no time in checking to see if someone with a mask or full military gear is friendly, I just shoot.

I've obtained Full Healthy/Energized/Hyrdrated fully BRIGHT green, I will try the drop/pickup idea.

Not asking for a Nerf, I just think that looking around the landscape, that it's a bit too cold for what the environment suggests, and I don't keep stationary for long, very brief parts of my playtime as I play on populated servers in areas where you stay still for too long and your going to get found out or shot. Don't get me wrong, I like the weather changes they added, however as I said, I believe it's too cold for what the environment suggests.

It's these very same "Heroes" that will gun down anyone and cry wolf telling you he/she was a "Bandit" that either killed them before or one of their friends, I love these guys/gals though, you just want to cuddle them, and then promptly send them back to Carebear Island.

I don't believe in people who say they play a certain way, I've met people who insist they're heroes only to find out they use the term "Hero" to justify killing other people who are "Bandits". I truly believe that no one sticks to being either a Hero or a Bandit all the time, even if you commit to one playstyle per spawn, your never truly one or the other, hell I'll shoot anyone who looks threatening or has something I want or need, then in the next town over I'll talk some person up or go looting with them, after playing the Standalone for well over 1300+ hours, I've come to the conclusion that playing the Good/Bad/Neutral guy never sticks, and you simply react to however the situation dictates.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest bit that people stay in the North-East and along the Coast, gives me a lot more freedom to gear up and avoid the bulk of the unpleasant pre-pubescent trolls that have some remark to say about my mother, calling me a homosexual, or something along those lines. The people I meet inland, mainly around NWAF and around that area, are a lot more respectful and talk first, made a few good friends in-land, away from Rifty which obviously was jam packed full of Call of Duty refugees, lol...

I'm using the Blaze right now, it's very accurate, and having 6 speed-loaders in my protector case helps a lot, because of it's two shot limit. I feel like a cowboy with this gun, so I also rock the Magnum as my sidearm, using the chest holster ofcoarse, wearing a Brown Cowboy hat, Green/Black checkered shirt, Brown hunters pants, Boarskin pack, Splitting axe, Boots, and Brown gloves.

I waver between Neutral and Hero depending on the situation, I'm not like most Heroes though, I will not put my team or myself into a situation that would mean death for any one of us, some say that's being a coward, I say, you can't be a Hero if your dead... I try my best to avoid people depending on what their wearing, mainly their gun, and if it's a crowded place or not, I don't mind talking to people because in this game, I find interacting with people to be one of this most fun experiences you can have, but like I said, if I even get a slight feeling like I'm going to get shot, I do my best to avoid people and only make contact when the odds are in my favor.

The game had too much Military gear to start with, and it was FAR too easy to get your hands on. I personally think this was a good change, with diminishing the amount available it might make players be more cautious of their surroundings knowing that if they die, it will be harder to get what they had, as it should be, this is the Apocalypse, not a one stop and go Military outfitter sim, lol...

Generally people who Shoot others on Airstrips/Bases are infact not Bandits, they are just people who Kill on Sight. People who are actual Bandits are few and far inbetween, so there is a big difference between the two. I like interactions between people, so I will attempt to make contact over Direct comms after I have safeguarded myself from them seeing/shooting me before I speak to them. If your more apt to be friendly towards people, I would recommend you find a group that shares your playstyle.
