A few questions: 1. How are you going to tell who is/isn't a [LOST] member? 2. Even if you join in on one of their servers, how will you know where they are? 3. What did you hope to gain from this post, your essentially warning said clan of you and your "brother clans" objective to even the score? 4. Where you or any of your members with this guy who got shot, do you know this member well enough to know he wouldn't stretch the truth of what went on? 5. Out of all the groups/clans/players who "Bandit" or "KoS" what makes these guys any more special? This thread feels more of like an ego trip of would be "Heroes" going to even the score with the big bad [LOST] clan, which like most threats of getting revenge, equals out to the "Heroes" going in, getting shot and killed by these people who may or may not be members of that clan, then coming back onto this forum, and claiming that the clan had used some sort of exploit/hack/cheat ect. to win. I really hope to see this in action, I've been on their servers before and well, I'll be sure to be there to hopefully see this happen.

I try to not do any sort of encounters on high pops on the coast, seems 9/10s of the hackers/cheaters/script-kiddies hang around there, but even if I do run into a hacker, and die, I still know that I'm the better player, because artificial skills mean crap.

It's best never to allow anyone you meet in this game to move from where you can keep your eyes on them at all times, never allow someone to get closer than 5 meters to you ( your personal bubble. ) and if they have a gun or pick up a gun, treat them as a potential hostile player never allow them to get into a position that would let them quickly raise the gun and shoot you. It may sound horrible not to trust people, but keeping the upper hand in any situation and being cautious of anyone no matter how "friendly" they seem/act or say they are, it will get you a lot farther in this game.

I have a dream that one day these types of threads won't exist, threads that drone on and on about how it's not the zombies, it's the players, blah blah blah. Other people you would meet in an Apocalypse wouldn't all be friendly, they wouldn't want to interact with you, they would be pushed to their limits and need to survive, they would see you and your gear/items and kill you for them, sure there are people who would stop to see if you have anything they need, or to help you, but let's face it, DayZ would be pretty boring if people just all get along and only cared about killing zombies, and holding hands through the fields of Chernarus, lol.

So to begin, I traveled from NWAF back to Vybor Military Base in the hopes of getting myself parts for my AK 101, upon approach I seen that the Jailhouses double doors where shut, knowing that those doors spawn open, I went into stealth mode from my previous YOLOSWAG mode, and upon getting to the Jailhouse I had a momentary lag of a couple seconds which means that this person is close and has a lot of gear, and I was right... All those Mountain Backpacks you see there, where one inside the other inside of the other, what kills me though is there wasn't anything besides a few 30 round akm mags, and some protector cases in them...

I'm talking specifically about the Vybor MB doors on the Jailhouse, all the times I've been there they have been open, on newly reset servers they have been open, so to me that's 100%, and when their closed, I've seen/heard people inside.

I would hope that they will add Zombie hordes to high-end loot areas and cities, but when/if they do this, they should marginally increase the spawn rate of high-end gear to reflect the difficulty of looting a place infested with hordes of the undead/infected. But first I think really grinding out superb AI for the current zombies, pathing issues and in some buildings their ability to still phase through doors/walls and hit you if your above them is what I would think would take precedence over adding larger groups of them, and they need to continue optimizing the servers so that in the case of there being a horde of zombies, your fps doesn't plummet causing you far more problems than a horde could ever do. But here's to hoping!

I've had this issue before, been nearly fully geared up, the server resets, I go to join the same server, and boom, I'm a freshy... I then leave the server immediately after noticing that I am a freshy and log back onto it again, after the minute wait I usually have my gear back, but sometimes I am unlucky and I have to gear back up...

I've noticed with Shotguns in general, that if you do not hit them from the front or their head, the damage absorbed through the backpack being full of stuff, is enough to negate any fatal damage. I've used the Shotguns on multiple occasions, and I have 8 out of 10 times killed someone in one shot, as I tend not to be over 50 meters away, and being used to the Shotguns spread, I aim where most of it will hit my target, the other 2 times, I either broke their legs or they went unconscious. But all and all it's a good gun, you just can't be too far away, or expect firing round after round is going to hit what your aiming at... Also try first person when firing.

I've played close to 1500 hours of the Standalone and I've: 1. Never made an attempt at being stealthy, mostly just YOLO it through towns/cities/bases ect. 2. Eaten a Tomato ( Find this disgusting IRL. )

I found one today at the Barracks in Papalova or however you spell it, was sitting there on the beds, and a grenade below it, luck is in my favor today.

How I keep the upper hand: Shoot them.

Great stuff man, yeah first several times I tried holding someone up I was really nervous, but that wore off and now it's second nature, but I do stay with keeping respectful when issuing a command, and yes I know holding someone up isn't respectful, but I find that the people are going to comply with you asking them to stop, get down, and telling them what will happen if they don't, lot of people think Banditing is all about killing people, but it is an art form.

You stand a chance, but not as good of one as someone who can use voice comms, in this game, standing still long enough to type something out, can and will get you killed. This is of coarse if your on a populated server and in an area such as Elektro/Cherno or a Air/Military Base which are common spots for PvP'rs and people who just want you dead... I could be wrong but text chat is visible, meaning they can see it on the bottom left corner of their screen at/around 50 meters, while voice comms is heard at/around 80 meters. You might want to stick to low pop servers until you become comfortable with your surroundings, and seeing someone. Oh, and whatever you do, never make contact with someone who sees you, make sure you have the upper hand such as you seeing them, and are able to react if they proceed to keep their gun raised or don't respond well to your text.

With guns like the AKM, I feel that you need no secondary gun, it's very effective, great stopping power, accurate, ect. The only time I would go with the MP5K would be if I was always going to be in CQC, due to hits RoF and lower recoil than the AKM. On a sidenote: comparing a SMG to a AR and asking which is better, doesn't make sense to me lol...

The sawn-off is quiet deadly, I don't know what the others denying that are smoking... I've been able to drop two people before reloading, sure I had to be within 30 - 50 meters, but a direct shot to the upper body/head will kill them, and a shot to the legs will break them. I would still take the 1911 because it has more ammo, but requires better aiming, but if your comfortable with your aim, a sawn-off in cqc, is very good.

I typically ignore paper, unless it's in an area where it wouldn't normally be, such as a road or path in the woods, other players will most likely ignore them completely because you can't load it with ammo and shoot people with it.

Best to avoid Cherno/Elektro the Airbases/Military Bases if you want your "Interactions" to be more friendly, once I get geared up, I avoid those places like the plague, nothing but a cesspool of, "Hurr durr get rekt". mentality players there, it's all fun and dandy hunting people down, but I prefer hunting in-land.

I don't look forward to these "companion animals" because it's just another way for people to grief someone, or whatever. I'm sure we will see a flood of posts from people who are crying/complaining about so and so, shooting Lassie, or Wilbur, lol... Although I do see the use of them, especially the dogs, for being able to sick them onto people, sad thing is most people can't outrun dogs, let alone horses...
