  1. I to prefer the "Hunt" opposed to gunning everything down I see, I love the challenge that an equally geared/experienced player brings to the fire fight, and while I detest the "CoD" mentality that most players share on DayZ, I do see the "Fun" in getting into engagements to test ones medal and prove that I am the better survivor.
  2. If someone is close enough to where people typically spawn it, be it as a fresh spawn or someone jumping servers for loot, you are briefly in-game before your able to take control of your character and see what's going on around you, and in that brief moment as I said, you stand a pretty strong chance of getting shot, so it is best to log off in an area that is hidden so when you spawn in, your not exposed and visible to people. I typically find large pine trees and hide in the branches when I log out, that way when I get in I'm not easily seen, until I move.
  3. Then I'll make sure to play on Vanilla Servers or ones with Mods that aren't too outrageous, lol...
  4. I personally have not played any of the Arma games, so the Standalone is pretty much it when it comes to my experiences... I feel it would be "Interesting" to have Helicopters and such in game, so that you could have something to strive for as a "Endgame" goal, along with Bases and such of coarse. What I am NOT wanting is for this game to be turned into some Air-assault Warfare simulator and there to be an over abundance of "Endgame" Vehicles and Rarity Items, that could be seen as "OP". If the parts, ammo, fuel, ect. where VERY hard to come by and maintain it would seem feasible, however like I said, I don't want there to be too many per server, and I definitely don't want it to feel like my Squad/Clan stand no chance against one or whatever, because I would want it to be pretty equal in terms of ground/air superiority... All and all, I am not against the idea, hopefully A LOT of thought and testing go into it prior to it being implemented for the player-base to use/test.

A new clan to watch for Hacking!

Just a tip, post negatively about clans/players is hugely in bad taste even if their hackers, I would advise reading this forums rules before posting anything else.

Where did YOU find an AKM

I've only been able to find them at Military Barracks, I still haven't been able to get myself a 75 Round Drum Magazine yet though, but your best bet is to travel to either Vybor Military Base or Balota ( Due to them have three Barracks. ) and just sticking there until you have one, I haven't came across any at any other spot. What I want to know is where to get the Drum Magazines since I've been looking at NWAF at Tent city and haven't found any besides the 30 Rounders...

    Stream Sniping....

I've watched several different Streamers on a lot of occasions, I don't feel I was "Lame" for watching them, because I was enjoying what I was seeing... As for Stream Sniping being Lame or not, it would depend on the Streamer and how he/she presents themselves, some Streamers don't mind it because it provides a certain level of Challenge and keeps them on their toes, and with how many ways you can prevent the Viewers from seeing your location, such as Time delays, Blocking out the Server name your connecting to, and also turning your profile completely Private and going Off-line it becomes excessively harder to be Stream sniped. I personally feel pretty Neutral about it, I mean on one hand most Streamers are on Populated servers in areas where your going to see action, but on the other hand it does seem "Lame" to kill someone that you have a strong idea where they are by watching their Stream. The thing that bothers me the most is the Streamers who whine/complain that they just got "Stream-sniped" when it could have been anyone on that Server that happen to see them.

    scope wobble

Yeah as far as I know it's currently a bug that is being worked on, I'm sure they meant for there to be a bit of a sway, but I must admit there's far far too much.

    New neaf

I believe there trying to go with a typical airfield look opposed to a military airfield, I agree with you comment, though.
  10. Great video really enjoyed it, but the music was obnoxiously loud, lol...

    MY DREAMS CAME TROU

I experienced this sway after running for a bit and crouched and tried to bring the scope up, it was pretty horrible but once my breath slowed down it was alright.

    Do People still watch balota?

People still go there, mostly now to try to get themselves an AKM and a 75 Round Drum Magazine, I've seen a few people since currently I am combing Balota for finishing additions to my AKM, but mostly people are drawn to either NEAF or NWAF, which doesn't bother me none since it gives me a better opportunity to grab and go, but I would assume on a reasonably populated server you could find people still on top of Chapa towers / Sniper hill in Balota taking people out, however most people only frequent the Tent city there.

    Character wipe everytime.

Happens, pays to not care about loot and resets are bound to happen post-patch.

N/E Airfield Antics | Nice people?

I can't wait till they put in a permanent fix for the ability to look through or get into spaces you shouldn't be able to, really makes you not want to join into a server for some "Interaction" and run into people glitching and hacking into buildings, ect. Had a dude shoot my team and myself on top of the apartment buildings in Berezino yesterday, while he was inside the walls/ceiling, he was able to take all our gear off our bodies while we where on the roof....

    What Broke You?

After playing this game for around 1200 hours as "The Good Guy" hero, and finally having enough of getting attacked by the people I was trying to help, or lied to by those people so they could get their friends to kill us, I finally said to myself it was time I cared more about my personal safety and survival than some random players, and I made the switch to a true Bandit lifestyle but I will not KoS people and prefer to uphold true Bandit ideals such as Cuffing/Burlaping/Force Feeding/Beating people and if it suits the situation, killing them. Everyone can go off on Bandits all day about how they are horrible people, but I'de rather be true to myself and not hide behind some "Hero" playstyle that most people who play as Heroes are just as bad if not worse than your typical CoD kiddo...

    Airfield Massacre!

Jigga I don't see why your going off on Odin because of his comment, and if your not paying attention to your Mags and can't tell the difference between 60/60 and ( Insert Hack Item # ) Mag, then I don't know. Perhaps when you post the Video you could have noted that you weren't aware of them being Hacked Mags and saying that you instantly disposed of them after learning about it, however your entire team was using them, so I don't know what to believe. Now I understand the work you put into your videos, and I do enjoy them when I come across them here or wherever, but no one is at fault here besides the one using the Mags, Odin stated what he saw in your Video, and you roast him for doing so, stating, "You know me better than this", and "I wasn't observant enough to know". But if you don't want to talk about it, then fine.

    DayZ Rap Battle

Wow great video I look forward to future ones, you'll all great!
  18. Good video, although would have been nice if I/We knew what you where saying.
  19. I always have my Sawn-off zeroed in at 50 because I use it only for clearing buildings, maybe having yours at 100 was the cause of him not going down?
  20. I always run with a Sawn-off Shotty for my secondary, and it has yet to fail me, I always drop the guy/gal in one hit to the torso/head and even if I somehow miss and break their legs the person usually falls unconscious or tries to combat log and I just blast their face off with another shell. It is terribly loud though, and shouldn't be used if your going for the whole "stealth" approach to your kills.

DayZ - Make your shots count, or die!

    Good stuff.

    Questions to Dayz devs

See there's people who value bug fixes and devs fixing known issues in the game, before adding in any further content. Then there is a much larger group who complains about there not being a lot to do in a game, and thus forces the devs to add in more content to keep these whiners happy and playing their game. I am with the group who prefers things be put in working order before adding in anything new, even if fixing these things takes a while.
  23. I don't really want "Missions" going into this game, keep those to Arma 3 and such, adding in Missions would make this game feel more like a Military sim game, which I personally don't want to happen. I agree with some things, but too many weapons would be too much, unless they expand the map and make gun spawns way more rare.

    Was I being a dick?

You had your life threatened by a guy with a pistol after stating that you are a friendly. You killed him and his partner (Which is what I would have done if someone raised a gun at me.) and went off to check out the building, found another dude which gave you some problems but you handled yourself in a professional manner, all went well and you logged off. So no you weren't being a dick, you did the right thing. Now if you where being a dick, you would have shot that guy after he took all his gear off, lol...
  25. comikz

Has anyone accidently shot their friend?

I always like to keep my groups small, like 4 to 5 max. Cuts down a lot on the confusion of who is who, and lessens the amount of friendly fire. With that said yeah I have shot and killed many of my "friends" because I generally just get tired of asking who is who, and where they are, so I just blast whomever it is I am looking at after the third time of asking and getting no response...
