Have to agree with the guy you quoted. Still haven´t died cause of zombies(even on 0.37 experimental) but as they are, they are more annoying then they have been in decreased numbers. Was able to loot the NWAF yesterday alone after a server restart and it was absolutely not fun. They see you through walls(and still run through), bring all their friends with, even if those zombies are out of sight and hundreds of metres away etc.. . I managed to loot the first 5 Hangars and killed plently of zombies till then. As soon as i arrive the firestation some zombies have been respawned and were running into the firehouse on my location. I felt like i killed 1 million zombies and not the fun way. I used melee half the way but I had to stop because killing them without bleeding can be impossible since this patch. Sometimes they hit me from 5 metres, when I couldn´t get any hits from even 1 metre(try yourself if you think I´m not skilled enough). Zombies are an important task to this game. When the SA came out I thought it would be enough for quite some time if the zombie count was increased and they would respawn. Now I think completely the other way around. Less zombies with a better AI first would make this much more playable and interesting. I tried to be sneaky and take them out from behind and what not. But there is no regular working way. Even at night when I was laying down 200 metres away without moving or anything, the complete Krasnostav Zombiegang attacked me after the first 1 was running into my direction. :( -

Try setting HDR on low or better and adjust gamma and contrast. Helps a lot to fight zombies. Even looting is possible. But for proper looting you need a lamp. -

Maybe the server was not updatet in the list. But in general I love the new system. 2 hours day and 2 hours night I guess. Sad that most players hop from day to day server :(. -
It is german ;) Could be Airsoft players, but more likely special forces like KSK or the Fernaufklaerer(Recon troop). Where 1 member mostly carries an Mp5 SD(mostly the one with medical training or the squadleader. So its not unrealistic.

I´m pretty sure you would find some sort of modern german firearms like an MP 5(used by military and police units all over the world) in "Chernarus". I live very close to the czechen republik(where Chernarus is made from) and I have a scary movie and a kermit the frog mask at home, so why is it that unrealistic to have payday masks and stuff like that in the game?

Well, I think its very well balanced at the moment. The improvised backpacks give you a big advantage while travelling across the map. For me its the only "real" endgame item at the moment :D

Yes, same here. I´m sure it has something to do with the bandwith usage. My bandwith usage is way higher then on stable branch. (And my internet connection is the best you can get(my computer not :D). -

Night time is awesome now, you just need to put HDR on atleast low(not very low) to make it playable. My girlfriend and me are always the only ones on the night servers. But when we arrive a hot spot like any militarybase it has been looted -.- . Get some skills up!! -

Same here, my FPS are worse then before. Pretty sure it has something to do with zombie respawning. -

Guys, youtube is worse for comparing sounds of weapons or whatever. But tbh, a rework of the M4 sounds would be nice.

Think they it out of the game until it's fixed. The Model didn't fit the character properly and could cause bugs while beeing prone and using a scope. -
Well, in a.hot climate country you are right. But chernarus is mid-cold climatic, so ice holds very long till it melts completely down. My grandparents had a thing like that(germany) and in the summer here they had to get ice all 3-4 days. So this works pretty well. (The ice is a long tube)

A dream would be 50-60 player servers with lots of zombies(for me). Tried 100 and 80 servers and that's just too many players for the game in it's current state(gameplay wise). -
Yes, that would be awesome. The g3 isn't as handy in auto mode either.

what would happen if i lower scenecomplexity and viewdistance?

1200-1300m is the best way to have a large view distance with good orientation and FPS. Tried it out myself and distances below 1000m make orientation hard when you are in the middle of nowhere without a map. Scenecomplexity says how many objects get rendered in your Fov. The lower the scenecomplexity the less details get rendered on your screen.(High drains lots of fps) Not 100% sure about that, but I heard you should atleast have your scenecomplexity at mid settings(500000), because it could be that other players in your fov do not get rendered at higher distances. -
Am I the only getting the really annoying "ground impact" when I shot while prone ?

Those "adjustment" are impossible without breaking 3rd person view in general. It will not be as handy as it is atm(everyone will complain). -
