i think the developers need to look at this game from a gamers stand point and add things into this game so it doesnt become a grind gathering. i usuallyu gear up pretty good, get into a fire fight, live or die x repeat. but i do die a lot. right now, there's really not much else to do. i have zero desire to stay up at a NW location for 30 hours to tell about it on this forum. that would bore me to tears. so i hope they implement more stuff to do...because right now, aside from wicked gun battles, there isnt much else. and when you die, although it is fun to gather, after a while it will bore your typical player.

Where do you play? I need some m4 ammo, I mean, I just want to wave and say hi.

I decided to give the SKS a go around a few times and its pretty deadly. More of a short to medium range weapon ( at least I think so) and when you fire it, you can postively scare the piss out of everyone.

listen chumpchange- I dont have an issue with killing. im a bandit so i do it all the time. but dont be a f'in crybaby and say "im friendly, please dont shoot" like a little turdsack and then shoot someone after they put their guard down. say youre friendly, BE FRIENDLY. stupid twat.

Think about it simply- in a real life situation, if you had a weapon and someone came up to you, you'd be on guard, right? when you spoke to them and they ignored you, why wouldn't you go to extreme means to protect yourself? yelling friendly doesn't make the other person friendly. sorry, it doesnt work that way. you need to protect yourself better. you got very, very lucky. ive been punched out by a bambi and woke up with all my stuff gone. now whats my reaction to a.) bambis charging me b.) bambis not responding to verbal c.) bambis getting too close to me & not having a natural fear reaction when someone is pointing a gun at them. All A thru C gets a bullet in the brain. 99% of the time, they were up to no good. They have nothing to lose except jogging distance, so the advantage is theirs. the more you play, the more cautious you will become. and to further add to the mix, you have to be on guard for those who yell "friendly" back because sometimes they kill you as well.

Ahhh. I had a gun battle with 2 guys on the hill- I got one, my friend got the other right before I got shot. I thought maybe that was you. Speaking of raincoats, my orange raincoat was ruined when I got back to it, but it looks cooler now ruined. F u sewing kit!

So me & a buddy were killed last night, so we ran around Berezino, got healthy, got some raggedy clothing and I found 2 SKS's. I had one and I gave one to my buddy. I said lets head down S on the road and see if we can have a fight club. Ran for about 10 minutes, found a bambi- I pull out my SKS and start yelling "STOP! We're going to have a fight club. If you win, you get all his gear. If you dont, you die." So this has probably been done a million times, but he went for it. My friend is ridiculous at knocking people out (he's knocked me out several times) and knocks the guy out after about 20 seconds. The guy was laughing and very cool, so we gave him a bunch of food, soda and bandages. Right before he starts to take off, I said "know what the best part of this whole thing is?" pointing my SKS at him. "What?" he asked nervously. *click click click click click* Everyone laughed and took off. Who says you need ammo to have fun? KOS now bores me, but these interactions are fun. We were both gunned down by 2 douche canoes about 2 minutes after, but hey, we had fun. PS- you're right, cool story bro!

If I want to fully geared and bored out of my f'in skull, I head to the NW AF. If I want to run around with an axe to see every single item scavenged, I go to NE AF.

Bandit is the most mis-used word in this game. Big distinction- 1.) KOS and a 2.) Bandit I dont believe they are one in the same. KOS player is worse because they will shoot anyone, including bambis (nothing to gain). A bandit will rob you, kill you for your loot. I guess I'm a bandit then because if you have something I need in the end of the world, Im going to take it from you to ensure I survive. Im not a KOS'er. Its ridiculous everyone in the game (even the Dayz website) promotes killing bandits, when KOS'ers are much, much worse.

I think they should make Dayz on Endor and crazed Ewoks would groan at you, chase you around and try to bite your knee caps.

If you play hardcore, you get chicks. Chicks dig hardcore.

I find this to be the players who do not know how to play the game. I read a post yesterday "10 hours and I still dont have a weapon" Good Lord- nobody is going to hand you a weapon. Go on Youtube and watch the countless videos to learn this game. Right now, I'm nearly fully geared in 40 minutes without server hopping and Im not going to an airfrield. You can do the same. Learn the tricks.
