Interesting - if that's working for you. Can an admin/someone involved in game development have a look at this? Is the info being pulled from the server essentially trying to push too much data to client through a small channel? Saying that though - massacre, you're working on a 100mb line....I am currently on an "8mb" line but I'm actually only getting around 2mb. If I allowed it to take jumbo frames etc I'm pretty sure there would be an explosion. How did you come across this, by the way?

Confirmed - done it last night.

You can forget meeting anyone friendly in Electro 99% of the time, that whole area is KoS. They may be friendly but that is only until they have a weapon or meet up with their buddy. ANY airfield is KoS, no matter what you are there for one reason and one reason only - Get Geared. If there is a chance that you start at east jail at NEAF and meet someone who came from West Jail, you may have something that they need and will take if given the chance. I started off being an Electro(ll) and shot everything and anything and soon learned the much more immersive and skill required Airfields. If I meet you there, you are guaranteed to be engaged unless I can work around you without you having the chance to see me. Everyone is always a triggerfinger there, I'd rather not take the chance. In the rare chance that I have gear and I am on the coast, if you are a bambi I will ignore/help you e.g. if you are new to game give pointers etc. (unless you are hostile, then you get put down). If you have a melee weapon, I'll be cautious and keep you at distance but try to help you. If you are armed, you most likely will meet your maker. Despite KoS when the wind is right, I do feel terrible for some of my kills. I feel actual guilt, I think it might be because I'm actually stealing peoples time. #DayzProblems

They may have fixed the main one, however you can still glitch under the first hangar and end up under the floor/able to pop up and shoot in the hangar. It's less convenient for the exploiters though. Baby steps. I am not entirely convinced that it has been. I was on Olsha spotting and watched as a player was furiously jumping at the wall and then vanished. From the distance I was at, I can't be 100% sure that he managed to get in but there is a possibility. ALTHOUGH, if you are able to still glitch look through walls I assume it's still there.

They have now got the notifications sorted. Was in a firefight last night and I got the following: "I think I broke my arm" "I am in a lot of pain" In the tab overlay it had below energized/hydrated in bright red "Fracture". Try using the compensator if you haven't already, I didn't see that you've mentioned that. It should hopefully bring it down a touch for you.

Beware of a long read - needed to build up the base. For the attention-span deficient amongst us, there is a tl;dr at the bottom. I was a baby faced new spawn who emerged from the DayZ womb on the island at Kamyshovo. I was relatively close to logging off so I thought I would chance my hand in Electro, running down the main street straight to the west fire station area. By the time I got as far as the church I witnessed a bandit - before you ask, if you have a gun in Electro you are most likely a bandit - face off. A mosin and SKS at the back of firestation versus (at least) two m4 guys in the house above firestation. I watched as they exchanged a host of shots. It didn't take long before one of them fell. Mosin man had went for a dirt nap while his friend had bolted round the back (presumably into cover at the back or in the fire station). As I was a bambi, I decided to grab a quick last burst of enjoyment before hopefully spawning somewhere where I had a chance for my next life. Using the age-old "eeny meeny" technique, I sided with the most likely victors, the m4 guys. I ran behind the house across from fire station and entered the bottom floor where I heard panic movement as they realised someone was in there. I shouted down comms "I'm a bambi, I'm going to help you and go distract the snipers". No sooner had the last word rolled off my tongue I was fist sprinting to behind the firestation going left and round the back. I had seen SKS guys fallen comrade but avoided the body in case SKS was near. Peaked around the corner but to my surprise he was nowhere to be seen. He had either logged or managed to get to roof without being put down. I grabbed all the loot I could from Mosin man (complete with pristine PU scope) when I heard a shot from an SKS just meters away. I checked myself (before I wrecked myself) and hugged the wall. I had deduced that SKS man was hiding in the corner on the east side of the building attempting to make his escape by keeping the M4 guys' heads down. Double checked there was at least 1 in the mosin and I slowly stepped out, SKS guy was running towards me, oblivious to my presence, takes one shot to the shoulder from myself and ducks back into the corner. A quick step in and one in the neck puts him down. Quickly loot and get out of there, in case M4 guys seeing my in the Mosin mans attire, decide to fire. I run to the well on the east side of the town to top up as I'm parched and church well is too risky with all the shots being fired. Meet a bambi who instantly surrenders despite my friendly presence (waving gesture etc). Hear gunfire and decide to take him with me as he is likely to get shot and I was a bambi just 10 minutes prior so I still had a warm heart in my body. Someone else near hospital with M4 battling with someone else, decide to dodge out of the way and not interact. I was going to take bambi to get the SKS guys body so he can have some loot and I could set him free in the wild. Suddenly another explosion of M4 fire at the building across from firestation, as I was geared and had a buddy now, I decided to check it out together. As I was running down on the street behind getting a look at what was going on I was approached by a better clothed bambi with a blaze 93 and a cowboy hat. He shouted he was friendly and said that he needed rounds for his gun to defend himself. I gave him rounds without a hesitation as there was a lot going on and pushed up a little bit. I turned around to see the first bambi by my side but the cowboy had gone, assuming he had pushed round church for a look and as I was wary of the M4 fire sounding closer I began scoping out fire tower when I heard a shot and fade to black. Assuming that I had been bested by a long range sniper dotted anywhere in the map I wasn't too bothered. Up pops a message in the corner "_____ has added you as a friend", I accept (I'm a TF2 trader so friend requests often and plenty are nothing new). Turns out it was the bambi who was with me who said the guy I gave rounds to shot me in the back, he had picked up my axe and tried to kill him but he got put down by my assailant. Me and the bambi teamed up and played a little longer. TL;DR Helped bandits kill bandits and took the spoils and ran. Looked after bambi Help another somewhat bambi with a blaze93 without ammo Attempt to kill some bandits Shot in back by armed bambi ( T_T )

Was well up North looking at the new features. In big red barn, going to come down but stop for a moment to check what space is left in my inv. You are dead. These things happen, it's annoying but it's Alpha. :)

Hi Stolenbanjos, Go into your key assignments. There is a setting in their that binds the right click with holding your breath. Just simply remove the hold breath bind and you're good to go. Hope this helps, if it doesn't add me on steam // kimosabi19 and i'll go through it with you. .#K

Two nights ago - Spawned in electro on a full server, instantly hearing showers of bullets being fired into the town not far from where I was. I climbed into my stealth suit and casually leaped from house to house sourcing the location (hoping to come across a lootable body to make my life easier). I did find a corpse, granted a relatively young bambi but he had a wrench which is more than what I had so I grabbed it. I started pushing a little deeper into the town near the fire station as i'd sourced the gunfire to there. Crept into a house, wrench at the ready and got to the top floor. Watched like a hawk for any alive/dead players and had headphones up loud for footsteps/breathing. Not a soul in the building I was in. Sat for a moment planning what to do next and I heard moaning in the house/room next to mine. Decide i've got nothing to lose, I run down the stairs and begin creeping up to where I heard the noise originate. See a bandit looting a freshly killed geared player. I take a breath and charge him with my wrench raised. He notices me instantly as I arrive at the top of the stairs and he is startled and quickly trying to take sight for a shot. I run circles round him seeing blood pour out of him in the process when a shot hits me, get a few more hits in and then "You are unconcious" appears. I'd been bested, so I respawn. Same spawn. Not wasting time, fists out and sprinting back...It's on like donkey kong. Run up to the top of the stairs with my war face on to see his body laying where mine was....I'd dropped him too. 15 minutes - fully geared. gg. Also first post - beans me.
