Hi guys, I'm playing this game since 3 weeks now and I would like to listen your idea of what the game will be. Actually i feel is quite boring. As on of the author said you can be geared up in few hours of play instead of some days and that's boring. As soon as you have a fire gun zombies are not a threat anymore. Actually they are not a threat even if you don't have a gun because you can run faster than them. At the moment the only thing that slightly increase the difficult managing the zombies is the fact that they can run through the walls. So zombies are sostantially boring. Water and food are not a problem. Just leave the coast and you will find everything you need in great quantity. And that's boring. Combat with other players is fun but buggy in my opinion. It's not always a matter of how good you are and how good the other guy is. You can die because you fell off a wall, stairs will running away. The shipwreck is dangerous for the stairs instead of the other players/bandit. Sometime you're chasing someone and you see him disappear in a wall while you're shoting. He will avoid the bullet in this way. Than he will appair again and kill you just like that. And that's boring and annoying. Said that i know it's alpha but exactly because w're still in alpha stage how do you suggest to fix these things? Do these things bother you ? Is only my fault related how i play this game ?

I went on Dean Hall youtube channel but the last video is 1 month old and it's a Dayz teaser. Anyway i read about the fact that zombies are going to increase when servers will be optimized. I only hope that they are going to be A LOT ! That's not what i meant. There could be other answers like i.e. : problem x is not going to be fixed because is not considered a problem by the authors. Because apart from the player walking throught the wall the rest are gameplay adjustment and not real bugs

Two days ago I was in Elektro, new spawn without anything. I told myself : I want to run naked in Elektro and see what happen. Few seconds later i heard a shot and turning around I saw a very well geared military guy dead on the ground. i knew there was a sniper somewhere but i thought that i didn't have anything to lose so i took my chance and looted the guy. He had the usual military things and a pristine mosin equipped with a pristine long range scope ! I immediately run away and headed out of the city. I never had a mosin and more than all I never had a mosin with a long range scope so i trained myself killing some zombies from distance in a small village north of Elektro. Then i saw him .. there was this guy who was walking crouch in the middle of the street. I had it in my scope. Killing zombies is nice ... but killing another player was new to me .. i HAD to try. So i did. I hit him in the head. After that i went to check what i could steal from him. I think that this is a KOS. Bu I'm a sniper now. I cannot yell at the guys i meet : "Are you friendly ?". I wait hidden somewhere. Steady and stealth. If i see someone who seems to have something i want... I kill him. At least i do that until i will die killed by someone else or until my mosin will deteriorate. Is that so bad ?

The point is that i don't want to avoid other players. I have to eat,drink and find other ammonitions for my mosin. I could scavenge or i could kill people who seem well geared and search for this things on them. I don't kill new spawns because they don't have anything i could want.

Did you where in Elektro ? In a corner of a room in a building at the first floor with the door closed ?

I was in a military base trying to find a weapon. I went upstairs and found a guy. I immediatly run away but he yelled to me that he was friendly and needed some food. I had lot of food so i left some beans on the floor. He took them ,said thank you and starting eating them. I then turned around and after a second saw the black screen and the "you are dead" sentence.

If the message is : Cannot load material file dz\characters\headgear\data\militaryberet_un_rvmat then I've it too. I already tried to check game cache and steam says everything is ok and all the files are there. So i don't have any other clue.

Hi guys, I'm missing some text descriptions when I right click on an object. I should see what option I have but I only see some of them. Right click on a banana and i see the option "EAT". Under there is an empty row. If I move the mouse over there and left click I see the description of the Banana so I imagine the text missing in the empty row is like "Description". Same thing happens when i right click on another object. For example on a closed Spaghetti Can i see the option to open it but again i've one or more empty row. If i click on the empty rows they actually work as they should (i can see the details of the Spaghetti can etc.). It's just the text that is missing. Same thing in some menu options. For example under Textures settings all the row in Video Memory sections are empty (where there should be Auto etc etc). I let Steam check my local files and everything was ok. I updated my graphic card driver but still the same problem. It's not a big deal but I'm curious to know if someone has the same problem and knows how to solve it.
