Hello everyone, I am not here to invite you but rather tell you about events we are making in our Israeli community. Evantually, like some of you we got bored of wondering around and trying to do whatever people do in this game and we organized community events (20-40 people per event). The events are currently organized in a single city/town, only played on hardcore servers and require abit of a search for equipment previously. Events may be played as group vs group (ie: bandits vs heroes), assassination (one group needs to kill the other groups leader), search and rescue (finding a person in one of the prison and taking him out of the area) or even finding a yellow box filled with treasure some place in town. Events usually take up to 1-2 hours and are tons of fun..

So I had a mission, recruit everyone to join me and form the largest group on the server for the longest possible time. My record is 25 people without being shot at, and we performed one marriage ceremony.. Here are some screenshots from the little ragtag group we formed. Sorry for the low detailed graphics, I have a terrible terrible computer..

Game knows what I want and gives me the exact opposite- I play with friends and get killed in Berezino. Game spawns me 10 times in a row in Solinchiny, I tell my friends to come to Solinchiny and they do. Then I get killed and only get Berezino spawns.Another case, my shirt gets ruined, need a new shirt.. Berezino and the surroundings will have absolutely no shirts anywhere, ANYWHERE.

I have an ancient computer, Q6600 with GTX650 and 4gigs of RAM.. I play on medium details and I notice that whenever people come near me or spawn next to me my fps drops to nothing for abit and then goes up again. So it sort of became like a spider sense when people are in the area :D

I'm Mordon, 30 years old from Israel. You may have met me on the field, I have a pretty deep voice and I usually don't kill on sight. About 300 hours in, every day is a different experience..

Zombies tore me apart, tried 3 different melee weapons that made absolutly no damage to the zombies. Evantually I turned to fists but I was overwhelmed. Couldn't escape either because they kept running faster then me

I apologize, I didn't mean it to sound like that- I've been to Europe many times and I find it very hard to decide which country I liked the most as most of the trips were awesome. I meant no offense. I must admit I am anti-nationalistic personally and I dislike nationality-bashiing extremely

maybe but I am able to communicate with Americans so much better as I don't speak any of the many European languages. Sometimes I think English is not even taught in schools in most of Europe..

I like to go on shore trips with friends from the far north to Electro/Cherno and then work our way back. We don't kill people but rather meet people along the way, take some with us and become friends. I've done that many times. Some of the people I befriended- I still play with, I met some famous dayz youtubbers, I met some insane bastard and some really funny guys. Btw, being an Israeli I had to resist the urge of a normal ping and NOT play on the European servers but rather play on the American servers. On the European servers its like a session of Call of Duty with tons of hackers, most dialogue i'll get will be "&*%*& you" in a strange accent. Americans from my experience tend to be nicer and give me an entirely different experience. oh, and since I do much less fighting my high ping is less noticed.

So I just killed several terrorists who tried to kill me and my friends and look what I found in their equipment, Infinity bullets (look down in my backpack). I tried reloading several empty magazines and it is confirmed as infinity. Has anyone ever encountered something like this? have I just witnessed a new type of hack?

They terrorise the local population of DayZ who only want to live their daily lives.. And they do it by using haxx! They are worse the terrorists.. they are terrorist hackers! obviously im joking

Yea realized as much, makes me feel even better about killing those bandits

I think the developers of DayZ had this in mind when they made this game -

heh, me and some friends tried to shoot a zombie in berezino, suddendly atleast 18 zombies started running at us from every direction.. first time in my life I actually had to retreat from zombies

It's global, me and dozens more have this issue

It looks like this: I never added anything to the launch options, tried deleting the config files but nothing changed. any more ideas?

My computer is a piece of crap indeed, I have an ancient Q6600 with a GTX650 .. however i did have the menu working properly since the start also, I messed about with the graphics settings even put everything on the highest and still nothing.

The edge always reminds me of this - The Haiti / Dominican Republic border
