Yes, I kind of agree with all the negative points (and that's why I like the game) playing DayZ is like joining an elite combat squad on active service 1 ) it's difficult to get in 2 ) it's hell in there Enjoy it. What else do you need to know ?

for enhanced immersion if the server is checking on log-in .. maybe a player who logs in with fake ammo could just be hung from a streetlight until he dies ? (heh..heh..)

^ Yep, as Dallas says .. who is on-line ? If you are walking in the street, people look at you and judge you before they even know you. And how do they do that ? By your race, your sex, your age, and your clothes - and your clothes probably show what kind of income you have so its - Skin color, Sex, Age, Money - all that without speaking or knowing you or finding out what KIND of human being you are A GREAT thing about the internet is that nothing of this SHOWS.. you just interact with human beings and all you know is they are HUMAN with their own individuality and their own thoughts and ideas. Don't knock it, we have a world communication going on here, anybody can meet with anybody and share what they think and what they feel. That's the BEST.. it's the way to go. Also - I think - just for the FUN of life - it's good for everyone to have their own skin color, their own eyes, hair color, height, age, their own ideas, own job, own place, background, living space .. everyone different, some things shared and some things unique. I like the idea of a lot of different people wearing their skins - like fashion clothes - so we can all look good and interesting in different ways. Oh yes. I like it that people have different ideas, and different accents (and two different physical sexes is very OK, whatever you decide to do with it), and no one age is better than any other age, its JUST DIFFERENT, and no eye color is better than another, it just makes life more INTERESTING And if you have any STRANGE old ideas, that one color hair is better than another color hair and brown eyes are better than blue eyes, (maybe because that's the SAME as you?) then the internet gives you a chance to find out who is REALLY interesting, and what ideas are really happening, you have to LISTEN before you decide about people, you can't use your old ideas to decide any other way.. you don't know anything about them except how they act, their way of thinking, what they say, their interests. So we've got some world community here, don't try to screw it up by staying in a little dumb group of people who look like you, and shouting insults at everyone else, that's stone-age, it's really NOT what's happening. Bohemia's official website and their official wiki are "probably made by the person/company in question" too I don't know WHERE you could find an official forum reserved for DayZ (unfortunately you will not EVER on ANY subject find one SINGLE web page that has the absolute DEFINITIVE TRUTH on it, unless you are a member of a really TIGHT minority cult religion) if you do FIND a DayZ forum anywhere, if one exists (???) and READ through it, you'll probably notice that there's a lot of DISAGREEMENT going on, about what's actually happening - so you'll have to inform yourself as best and as widely as you can, read MORE, not believe everything you read, and begin to make up your own mind about it. However, for simple background facts about MANY subjects including Dean Hall and Bohemia Interactive and MANY links to MANY other sites - "Try WIKIPEDIA it's a good place to START" If there are lies or factual untruths there, someone will point them out. That's how it works. You could even check them yourself. xx
