ok let's get this straight. There are a lot of people have a messed up idea of what is a video game. I CAN NOT carry out an act of violence against another player in a video game. Violence is strictly defined by LAW in all rule-of-law countries I am alone in front of a computer screen, the other player is far away, I have never seen them, I have no idea of their location, we are not and have never been in physical proximity. I cannot act violently towards them or cause them harm either by error or intent. In a game of chess, if I take the opponent's queen I am NOT committing an act of violence or physical aggression against the other player. It is perfectly clear that a video game offers NO oportunity for violence, rape, murder etc.. AS IT IS DEFINED IN REALITY (and reality is where we live, ok?) In fact, a game of tennis is MUCH more violent than any video game, it might even be possible to hurt another player by error or intent in a game of TENNIS. In a video game it is not. ok, so that ends that line of inquiry. Now if you are talking about simulation or fantasy, then START AGAIN and say what is is you think is respectable or disgusting about fantasy in video games. Because the legal REAL LIFE field here is moral censorship, not acts of violence. I agree there should be an enforced moral concensus about what fantasies people are allowed to share with others, but you will have to work out your own ideas here first before you present them to other people. For myself (example) I have NO fantasies about shooting people in the head and I consider it a very unpeasant action, inhuman, messy, horrible and not something I condone at all. I am REALLY EXTREMELY STRONGLY AGAINST IT. But I do it in the game. As you can not force people to play a video game or even watch the screen, there CAN NOT be "rape" in a video game, not even simulated rape if you define "rape" as being against the will of the victim. You are talking about "nasty" consensual vicarious fantasy experiences which consenting players wish to experience (and "nasty" being your own possibly justified evaluation). You should wonder (or research) what people are doing when they share this type of game experience and what happens in their heads. When you have an undestanding of the psychological mechanism of video gameplay, come back and tell us about it and we will be in a position to agree or disagree. or at least have a meaningful discussion or a discussion at any rate. no prob - if you like bondage, go for it. It can be fun. Meet people. My own personal roleplay, which is 100% roleplay in this game, is that NO bastard is ever going to handcuff ME. so when people say "this game permits rape" I don't get it at all. They just wrong.

you're complaining about missing when you pop bodies in the head at point blank ? you work for the Stasi or something ? hit them in the head with an axe wtf cant get a clean bullet in the back of the neck when they're handcuffed because the game is 'fucking wonky' can't pour petrol on them and set them alight either or cut their throats .. hardly worth playing I admit it is a real pisser when you can't get a clean kill on a helpless victim 2 feet away and have to waste 3 bullets. what distance is your scope zeroed to dude? Of course if you headshot someone at point blank in the scope crosshairs your shot will be off target same for 3d person

the game doesn't permit other players to torture you. However, it permits you to let other players torture you, if that's what you want. It permits free will. You always have a choice. I'f you're sick enough to let someone handcuff you, that's up to you. If you don't like it, log out with handcuffs on. xx

know your gun dont range your gun by shooting at players at the moment you cant see shots hit so you have to find some other way of doing it yes ?

Guess you never studied fishing rods.. (shouldn't have spent all your times on guns) .. Fishing rods come in all kinds of designs and materials and pieces are not mutually interchangeable. They are manufactured by the Chinese, the USA, Russia, etc, from carbon fibre, split bamboo, glassfibre.. etc.. they have different lengths and calibres, different equipment (some of the equipment is interchangeable to give you a different rod for different fishing-tactics in a different environment) Some fishing rods are camo, some are not, some are expensive some are crap... but .. er... who cares right? when we say REALISM we only mean GUNS.. aint that so ?? Why do we need 40 different GUNS in the game - so we can all PVP real COOL of course, and have military fantasies about how REAL it all is, how detailed.. how tru to life And: when I said CAN OPENERS I meant real ones.. you never noticed how many different TYPES there are? Some made in russia, or those little USA military issue can openers, etc, and local civilian can openers.. All DIFFERENT. Lets get REAL ok ? You probably don't care because you're not a lifetime expert can-opener freak (like I am) but we agree they should be realistic, right? And while we're there.. To be REAL we need at least 3 Aluminium Foil BEANIE HATS in this game. xx

So.. 1 ) there is no such thing as a "rare" gun and there is duping in the game ATM. 2 ) there is no need for 30 - 40 gun types in the game. There were a lot of gun types in the mod because it was an ArmA2 mod. They took out plenty of guns and left too many in that game. We don't need them. (some kids were still "looking" for M107s after they'd been taken out of the game, lol, so they think they were rare) there is NO NEED for a lot of guns in DayZ SA - what do you WANT them for ? you say 'rare guns' but you imagine holding them in your hot sweaty little hands already. By 'rare' you mean "the bambies won't find them" gimme a break xx [and stop with the half-assed polls already - if I polled "who wants flamethrowers and laser-pistols" yo' know I'd win] lolz

You strip a guy, handcuff him, beat him up, stab him and then shoot him - ok you're not bandits, like you said "we don't play like that" ?? Frankie is an entertainer, like any TV show host - his vids are completely recut, edited and dubbed and are exactly as "real" as any TV show 'reconstructed-reality' drama, or any TV 'real-life' comedy situation show. Frankie builds stuff that is interesting or funny, using hours of raw input and studio work. He's a pro entertainer, that's all. Not a war-reporter. I think his show is fun. you find these weapons at NWA - except the SVD you find at helicrashes. Every second or third helicrash there are 2 SVD Camos lying around, left by players who already passed through and didn't want them.

Russians are often tough ruthless fighters, they lie and betray, they think it's all a bit of a joke they have a very dry sense of humor also when you meet "russians" they are often NOT - they may be players from ex soviet countries in which case they fight russians more than anyone else, and they don't like being mistaken for Rus. (all in friendly international gameplay, natch..) so a useful conversation is: - are you Rus ? - not Rus. I am Ukraine - Good. I fight Rus! I like Ukraine! if you get this far you stand a fair chance of staying alive and even making a friend [no insult to my Moscow friends -- druzhestvennyj ] for anyone interested - Cyrillic countries have a kind of slang-text for imitating cyrillic on western keyboards and phones, so, in Rus text: - zdravstvujte (hello) - Ja javljajus' druzhestvennym (I am friendly) .. or just: - druzhestvennyj (friendly!) - ja ne Bandit (..guess everyone understands that) you might get a laugh or start a conversation with one of these. have to work on your accent to be able to say this stuff though, instead of type it.

Any trick is fair (except glitching) - bang an axe against the wall to sound like gunshot, switch mike on and off, talk to someone who's not there, lie ("there are two of them outside, log in, log in"), crouch and take aim and wait, they will show their head before you get bored. it's surprising how often the attacker does the same thing every time, you can almost rely on everyone to act the same way (which you should not) as though no one thinks it through.
