Couple of months ago these guys started selling server space at half price - which I thought should be less than they were paying for it themselves It's the kind of offer that looks good, then you think it's too good and you'll pass. (this is my disclaimer) There is maybe a completely above-board explanation, I don't know anything about their situation other than this, second-hand info. I don't know if you've been following any world news recently.. but if you see a guy dressed in a certain way, he's "military" - you haven't spotted that? and in fact they are REALLY easy to spot. They are called "soldiers" And everywhere I've been, in the mountains, on the beach, in town, wherever you care to name, I've NEVER seen anyone dressed in a steel hat, body armor, boots, camo, bergen, and automatic rifle who was NOT military. maybe things are different where you come from ? can you tell me - are these guys going fishing ? are they walking the dog ? maybe they are students going down to the bar for a beer ? they are firemen ? they are stockbrokers leaving work ? farmers maybe ? milkmen ? they are infant school teachers on an outward bound course ? pizza delivery ? hmm ? xx

how about taping your syringe to the end of a stick and poking them with it or to the end of an arrow ? or a blowgun ?

good point about changing clothes to get dry the effects of being wet are not implemented yet but I hope this will be included when they are sun direction and time of day is correct in game you can use shadow as a compass direction indicator, it works. sometimes the stated server time has nothing to do with the real 'solar time' in the game itself, I've noticed. If watches were in the game they would have to go by "real ingame time" (where 12:00 = noon) and not by the stated server time. Sometimes you find full daylight even when the server says it is 23:00h (also, I don't know for the accelerated daytime servers, I don't know how that works) town signs are in the Cyrillic alpabet, maps are in the Latin alphabet (used in western europe, USA and etc). I guess the maps are old nato maps ?? You need to learn your way around, but its not difficult. Any 'Latin' stranger in that area would have the same problem in real life. Be thankful for a map you can read, however it got there. xx

Same thing as happens to the dead soldiers I guess ? Somebody gave them F2000s I guess ? They came from FN Herstal in Belgium. Syrian army didn't buy any. xx (I hear what you're saying. a simple first step would be for the server title+description to be auto-appended to the server provider's records each time the description was changed so they would have a record of it included with the account details this should at least get rid of all the "join=kick" and "private server" messages, etc. this is not a solution, but it would clean up the server listings (at least) xx

In the mod you must fill a waterbottle from the pond, you can't drink direct boil the water before you drink it, or you risk disease. To do this you need an empty can in your inventory, as well as the full water container. And you need to build a fire. Check youtube for beginners guides

Honestly I think you are doing a good job. Keep doing that. don't mind me nit-picking I was surprised for a moment because "rainbow trout" is the name I've heard since I learned to walk and speak and "steelhead" I've only met in USA fishing videos, and in technical discussions on fish (oh yes.. I know some fishing freaks) luckily this is only about fish and not about weapons parts, so I guess not a lot of people care (or know). I don't know what the Australians call 'rainbow trout' - maybe we will find out tonight. I don't know if Americans say 'rainbow trout' at all. (I think Ernest Hemingway did but I'd have to check ?) I wonder, can we catch European Lake Tuna ? (they are very rare IMO) I like the anarchic quality of DayZ - so there is a lot of stuff I enjoy, that purists (especially weapons freaks) seem to have nightmares about. 'steelhead' are called rainbow trout in europe (and worldwide), they are an introduced species. No one has heard of 'steelhead' here. everyone knows "rainbow trout". If your scope is zeroed at 300m and you put the crosshair on the guy's earlobe at 2m - where will the bullet hit ? NOT the guy's ear, right ? ya'know - if your scope is zeroed at 300m and you crosshair your victim's head at 20m, the bullet will go well OVER his head - right ? you guys are the dread scopeshooters, you should know all that stuff, dontcha ? in the photo further up, you can see the gunbarrel is not pointing at the guy's head - of course - so natch he misses.
