I was running from Kabanino to Vybor and suddenly got teleported back without being able to move or do anything, Esc key menu wouldn't respond, had to Alt+F4. After logging back in, I'm back to Kabanino, and my character wasn't affected.

Andromeda why did you buy the game, when everywhere it's said "DON'T BUY THE GAME YET!"? If you aren't gonna be patient, just go play "finished" games like BF4 in the meantime. Otherwise don't be an ass.

Even World Of Warcraft made you wait for 20 seconds if you were out in the wilderness. This is even more hardcore, so I'd say at least one minute would make sense.

Exactly, plus I'm not the only one using Internet at my place, and I'm sure that applies to a big percentage of the DayZ community, if someone plays a video from YT in HD I get insta-kicked by ping.

No way characters should die upon disconnect, a lot of people would die just because the internet connection gets down or even lag spikes, so no. Character staying in the world for a couple minutes sounds much more reasonable and serves the purpose just as fine.
