Why? It's just a damn hat, specifically a specific style of hat. Why is it different from, say, a trilby. Is Europe filled with xenophobes that mock whatever is different? See what I did there? I judged an entire group (several groups, as a matter of fact) and boiled the group down to a single, offensive stereotype.

The appreciation of a good cap is universal, my friend. Universal.

I'm in University, you trolling fool. Probably at a higher level than you, based upon your skills with grammar and diction. What exactly do you mean by "basic genes"? Last time I checked, we all have pretty much the same genes, unless.....you've discovered the secrets of transhumanism!!!!11111!!!! I kid.
-
Exactly. The wealthy aren't evil, just generally short-sighted, and supportive of extremely predatory business practices.
-
So, you are a troll. Typical, and sadly unsurprising. How old are you? PS: Regardless of how old you are, learn to type properly. Your diction is horrible, and if it was better, people might take you more seriously.

No, that oil was sold to other countries, most likely Russia and China. Like what was said above, we export and sell more oil and petroleum products than we import and buy. Want to know the # 1 and 2 countries we buy oil from? Canada and Mexico. # 3 is the EU.

Sweet mother of mercy, you are a college student, aren't you? Please say yes, otherwise your stupidity is pretty much inexcusable. I am a member of the lower-middle class, and I don't want wealth to be redistributed.

The obesity epidemic in America is partially caused by the lack of healthy food available to the poor. In the US, healthy "organic" (hell, even food that isn't pumped full of preservatives) food is stupidly expensive, mainly because it is popular and desirable. That leaves poor people little choice except for food that is high in fat, salt, and preservatives. That, coupled with necessarily working long hours at a job, leaves little time for exercise. Hence, obesity. Also, we didn't really get any oil from Iraq and Afghanistan. Sorry to burst your bubble.
-
Yeah, the average middle-class (which is rapidly shrinking, by the way) American has little-to-no-actual political power, at least in national elections, as we simply lack the funds necessary to run for office. Even running for state office requires several hundred thousand dollars, so that the only ones running for state office are already relatively wealthy, and as such, rapidly become ensnared in the clutches of corporations and other special interest groups. I am not saying the rich are bad people, but it is readily apparent that in order to really change anything in the US, you need a metric fuckton of money.

The last time the US had an actual serious separatist movement, what happened was several years of the bloodiest warfare ever to occur on American soil. And, with increasing gloabalization, no, unless you want the economy of the world shattered, separatism is not an option. The issue of secession in the US is a very touchy topic, so please don't bring it up, unless you mean to have a serious discussion, somewhere else (preferably not online)

Well, by shooting those who are obviously affected, yes. In the case of a pandemic, you exterminate the vectors...Immunology 101.

The US electoral system is FAR, FAR more complicated that you think it is. You actually think that we vote in our leaders because we agree with their policies? HAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHHHHHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA..... (continues for 5 or so minutes)..... HAHAHA...That is cute, really (wipes tears away from eyes). No, the great majority of Americans vote in our national (who are different from State - level leaders) leaders due to them being what we view as the "least damaging choice". There is a saying in the US: "What is the opposite of Progress? Congress!" But seriously, the discussion of US national politics and foreign policy belongs on a different thread. All I am saying is, do not blame the "Americans" for the faults of "America". Chances are, we had absolutely nothing to do with it.

All of the people telling you to run willy-nilly into the woods is, sadly, rather mistaken. You will most likely get lost and die in the woods. Instead, follow the coast until you find a road into said woods. Follow said road until you pass a house/building. Don't bother, as it probably has already been looted. Instead, keep on going. You will eventually come across some form of water pump, which will keep you alive until you find food in the towns in the very center of the map. Also, look in barns, not only the long ones, but the hayloft-y type ones, as they often (for me) spawn food, shoes, decent clothing, starter parks, and even axes on the rare occasion. -
I never knew a peacoat and a driver's cap constituted "farmer's clothing" : P .

I guarantee that if I take my 3/4 Hudson axe (not even a full size axe) IRL, and rather gently tapped you in the head with it, you would 1) get a huge fucking bruise 2) probably have some sort of brain damage, and 3)be bleeding everywhere. Axes are brutal; I had a full splitting axe come up and whack me in the face when it bounced off a nail hidden in a log (yes, seriously), and even with safety goggles (HA! HAHAHAHAHA! All they do is protect the eyes.) on, I still split my forehead open and gave myself a concussion. If you get hit with an axe in real life, especially with the blunt side, bones would break, muscle would tear, and you would be out for the count, regardless if it broke the skin or not.

Have you been out in a major rainstorm before? There is a reason any hiker/backpacker worth their salt carries at least 1 form of rain protection ( I carry about 5) in their bags at all times. So, yes, in a rainstorm with decent rainfall, you get wet fast. Seems logical.
-
With that orange raincoat, you stick out worse than a sore thumb in a basket of anti- "sore thumb"-print paper. I wouldn't shoot you, but keep in mind that the human eye is drawn to both movement and contrasting color (we are hunters, after all), as as such, you fail on both counts. You can't hide in the city, you can't hide in a field, you can't hide anywhere, you would be boned.

I loved that entire game...the base game as well as the DLC.

How so? You've got to feed them, maintain (brush, rub, keep warm, etc) them after every ride, can't push them too hard for too long, else they'll give out, plus they are skittish around gunshots unless trained. You can't take them on technical surfaces (rocky roads, mountain trails, etc) unless they have the right shoes, plus, if they get injured, do you know how to provide medical care, treat diseases? With a bicycle, I can go as fast as I want, as hard as I want, as long as "I" am capable of keeping said speed. I can take it from offroad to paved road easily, even without changing the tires, and if I get a flat or chain-break, any idiot can replace one of those, even if I can't, there is bound to be another bicycle around SOMEWHERE. I also don't have to feed the damn thing, nor let it rest at the end of the day. So long as I have an air pump (which I have, a hand pump that fits under the seat) I can fill up the tires in less than 3 minutes. Bicycles )))))))))))))) horses, easily. -
Well, then they fucked up. I am not even a medical professional, and even I know to discount the effects of shock and adrenaline of a 1st aid subject. As for the "jogging and walking about while applying pressure" bit, try it out for yourself. Take both of your hands, press down on your outer thigh, hard enough to theoretically slow down/cut off blood flow, then jog about. When the motions of your body prevent you from applying enough pressure, slow that jog down to a walk. When the motions of your body again prevent you from applying direct pressure, stop, sit down, and do the maneuver the way it was meant to be done. I wasn't saying adrenaline would prevent you from feeling any pain, I was saying the physical movement of your body would prevent the action from doing it's job, ESPECIALLY when moving around, because the movement of the affected limb would cause more blood to flow through the injured site.
-
Have you been outside in a serious rainstorm? Because where I am from, a storm with decent rainfall and winds will block your vision like you wouldn't believe.
-
You have to be trained in order to properly use sutures, especially if you have muscle damage below the cut skin. It isn't as simple as "sew up the cut in the skin" All of this I learned in the Boy Scouts.
-
Have....have you tried to do this before in real life? While the addition of more "realistic" 1st aid is definitely a plus, the idea that you could walk, let alone FUCKING JOG, while doing this, is so far in the realm of "unrealistic" that it is laughable. To make a long story short, it is stupidly impossible.

A lot of the streetlight in my city are solar powered, and that in a lower-level city in the US.
