I'd like to point out one simple thing: just look at arma 3. same exact thing. game is'nt finished yet. they promised release in october, gained a shitload of money from the arma 2 oa sellout (thanks to dayz) but they realized that there was no campaign yet in JUNE. please tell me how the hell people still beliave in bohemia... still waiting for jets. still waiting for campaign. still waiting to performance fixes. still waiting for multiplayer working. and i'm still hearing in my head the voices of the beloved fanboys that screams in my ears "IIIIIIITTTTSSSS AAAAN AAAAALLLPHHHHAAAAA!!!1!1!!!"

Just don't come here doing the good samaritan, day z is a pure example of how people react in real life, and i learned that people that harm you once, will do it again. people paid to play dayz, people like you ruin experience of other people on purpose, knowing that it's bad sport and still have the guts to come here and tell us how it's bad? seriously, go f*** yourself and play card games, you won't hurt nobody but yourself in doing that.

Pendulum, i support your ideas, but i think it's already too late, it's likely that dean has already figured ways to enhance the game, or if the pattern with arma 3 alpha repeats with dayz, by the next year we would have more guns, more vehicles and some bugfixing, period. take in consideration that we are already in aplha stage, the basic gameplay mechanics are usually already decided sorry for my bad articulation, not native english and just came home from work xD

And i should be forced to obey personal admin rules, on servers with 300000+ vehicles with super duper gear on start always daylight no zeds, just because someone don't have enough patience to click that little star, near the word FAVOURITE? That's simply not true, i had to subscribe to the only european vanilla private hive, and it was a pain in the arse. i had to give telephone numbers and whatever..and finally they stuck on a super old version of the mod. there were even private hives that let you pay for gear..are you really sure you want that? i'm ok if private hives would pop up to break monotony, and to have a play there from time to time..

I would like random events on the map, i remember in the mod that the "endgame" was repairing a helicopter...and then? i would like to do "something" other than gearing up, right now it feels like a way too huge map to play death match, with infected screaming and warping across walls heh. the island idea seems cool, but it's waay to exagerated for now. they have to fill the big ol chernarus before creating another huge empty wasteland of m4's lol Or, they are server hopping in the room behind you. D:

http://youtu.be/v7zoVIsIT2A?t=1m24s While i understand that is clunky, the argument of peripheral vision is just a justification, as explained in the video i posted, it's not a solution. a solution to have larger awareness of the enviroment should be use of the occulus rift or triple monitor setup, not third person. i agree that it is indeed more practical, but i think the main problem in rooms is that everybody keeps running insiode of houses. instead of rushing everytime and everywhere, try to walk and use the shift button to jog, you will be amazed. guaranteed.
