Correct apples spawn on the floor.. if you don't see one next to a tree there isn't any..

So your telling me if 1000's of new Xbox DayZ players got knocked out and there screen just went black with no sound they wouldn't think their game is broken..

If you are staying on the coast then you are unlikely to find much loot. If you are struggling to get off the coast then i would recommend going to Wells.. Your hydration runs out faster than your hunger in DayZ so if you can find a well you can get off the coast easily. And apple should be spawning by tress again as they were for me yesterday. In terms of version.. There is more content currently in the xbox version than there is in the PC version.. CRASH SITES :O

Electro is quite a common town so that is why the loot can be low there.. For Cherno.. Now i'm not 100% sure on how the loot distribution works on larger areas.. Maybe its more spread out because its a bigger area.. Personally i tend to stay away from Cherno as it just seems a waste of time and go straight to Balota, Komarovo and Kamenka then head north to west evac.. Maybe there is an issue with loot but i do see what you mean it is quite low for suck a large place.. Elektro 100% gets ransacked as soon as a server goes up.. Hope this clears your mind a little :) AJ

May i also recommend Deleting system cache and saved files.. (Will be faster then re-installing the game). Clearing Cache Unlike Xbox 360, the Xbox One does not have a menu option to clear cache on the console. Instead, follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One: Turn off your Xbox One. Once the indicator lights on the front of the Xbox One and the console's power brick are off, unplug the power brick from the back of your console. Wait at least 30 seconds. Plug the power brick back into your Xbox One and turn it on. Deleting Saved Game Data Game saves, player profiles, and other game data is automatically saved to the Xbox One hard drive by default. If you suspect that data is corrupt, you can delete it from your hard drive. Please note: Deleting saved game data is permanent and cannot be undone. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you back up your saved game data to online storage or a USB storage device before deleting it. Follow these steps to access the System Storage and delete game data: From Xbox Home, go to Settings. Go to System and select Storage. Select Saved data on the left-hand side of the screen. Choose a game to access the game’s saved data. The update yesterday would have just been a preparation update for the release.. Nothing major stability improvements ect.

Hi @Dadpool This is a current known issue they are working on and is also one that has just started happening on PC. I had this happen to me durign the closed preview i force quite the game and afte a few attempts it let me into a server.. AJ

Regarding your first death. When your controller died and turned back on it seems like this is a bug that you were not able to move your character. Please be sure to post a bug report.. As for the rain drop icon this icon indicates how wet you are. Because it had previously been raining we were still wet. The best thing to do at this point is get near a fire. Post your bug reports here https://feedback.bistudio.com/project/view/2/ I would recommend looking at a map to locate wells if you are not sure where to find them which i'm not sure why your experienced friend didn't suggest. There are wells in nearly every town. Don't take this in a way that i'm digging at you because i'm not, i'm just giving you some advice that might help you. If it is a case of you don't want to use a map then will you have one hell of a learning curve if you want to remember where ever single well is.. I've been playing DayZ since 2012 and i still sometimes have to check a map to remember where wells/ponds are. TIP: Water purification tablets spawn in deer stands.

Sorry i never assumed you didn't know i just explained from the beginning for anyone that didn't understand why it was like this... Try pressing "Y" when you have fired a round.. I remember playing the other day and it was working okay for me.
