I'm a Mod. And I'm here to lock this thread. If you have evidence of a hack, please report it to one of the forum staff immediately. Otherwise, please do not create a topic explaining your stories on how you were a victim of hacking/witnessed a hack in action. We've had this thread multiple times before. [Locked]

The first step is to post the error in full format. Please screenshot or copy and paste the error you receive.

If you took the time to report a bug on the forums, you can take the time to report a bug on the official website. We use this website so the developers can keep everything properly organized, and can give responses to the situation.

They should still be in the mod itself. If not, perhaps the server you're playing on turned them off?

What is the exact error you're getting, and when? Describe step by step on what you're doing, and the exact error you receive.

There should be no issue if it is your default Recording Device, perhaps there is a setting for selecting a Recording Device via the options in Arma 2? Either this is the case or Arma 2 itself is downing the volume of your Microphone in-game.

Verify your files on Steam, otherwise try to use DayZ commander.

What I think our friend is trying to say is that there may be something running in your background that is conflicting. (Firewall? third party software? Anti virus?) Either this or the server you're playing on is not configured properly with their anti-hack.

This might be to multiple things. A firewall on your end causing issues with the server or game application. The server('s) in question causing issues with your connection. BattlEye acting up on it's own which may require an update. From the sound of things, it may be BattlEye causing issues mid-game and kicking you out.

No it isn't. Communication in any form should be allowed, especially since you can not always rely on in-game voice at times. Take example with the mod that you can not disable side-chat voice without disabling Direct Communication. I am unsure if this was fixed in the Standalone or not, and if it was it should be up to the Server Administrator('s) if they wish to turn off voice. Trying to disable a third party communication tool of any kind would result in conflict, especially since Steam has built in voice communication. And we cannot block that or risk upsetting many players and individuals. We've had threads like this with heated discussion, and the outcome is usually just people arguing back and forth with valid reasonings. Make your own server and make your own rules if you must, but the DayZ Staff will never do anything like this to upset the playerbase nor community because a few people dislike the advantage of third party communication and metagaming.

Admin Ban's are generally community bans. You might of been put into a global list that Administrators of DayZ Servers use. Please screenshot the error. (You can do this with Steam, or Fraps, or Puush.)
