I don't mind either way, I see us as a survivor of an outbreak and are limited to supplies. The idea of supplies and running around is nice and all but I prefer the good ol fashioned flare. So easy to spot people! -

Probably a glitch or resetting itself. I'm siding with it being temporarily glitched. -
No error what so ever? Just kicked from game? It sounds like you may be missing some DayZ files, redownload the mod and install it to the correct area. Check your launch options and then run it as Combined Operations to make sure it runs properly and try again.

No idea, resolution? Vsync? It could be anything truly, or a file keeps getting mis-downloaded and doesn't download all the data? I hope a developer can look into it. -
It's only been an hour, I wouldn't bump it this close. 1. Huey crash sites are in random 'selectable' areas. I've found a heli in the same spot before sometimes, so it spawns in different spots. I do not know if you can save them but it does say "Save crashed huey" 2. Vehicles can be saved. 3. Most of the time your vehicles save when the server restarts, sometimes a bug may release itself and eat the cars :V 4. I have no idea, ask the devs.

Some people say that if you copy the addons folder from your Arma II Folder to your OA Folder then it will work. -

I heard it's unsupported but there is a way to make it work with SixUpdater, so yes. -
You can rarely find them on dead military zeds. Also the helicopters are currently broken due to a clean-up script deleting them before they even spawn, fixed in a future update as stated by rocket.

I believe that characters are stored via your GUID/CD-Key -
Simple flashlights I've heard you need batteries, but have yet to find some. M4A3 CCO has a flashlight.

Alot of the time it's doing that because the launch options aren't loading the mod, or you aren't running Combined Operations. Right click Op ArrowHead and run it as CO. Make sure you're running Steam as an Administrator. -

It's strange like that and only works when it wants to on flat areas. -
If you fall down again, immediately press X and you will go crouch in the middle of falling and negate any fall damage. Alternatively you may take your secondary out of your inventory and climb a ladder that way, but a primary is the main way of getting up the ladder. I heard the reasoning behind this is due to the Arma II engine but I could be wrong.

Some people have crazy ideas, this is one of them and I encourage peoples creativity even if it doesn't exactly work out well. I'm not sure halfly of what is going on but I don't think the developers want the 'bird simulator' to be a real thing, granted it's actually kind of cool and peaceful but not really related to the DayZ idea now is it?

Oh whoops, read the wrong post then. Make sure your launch options include the right settings, and that you right click and click on Launch Arma II: Combined Operations Here is the appropriate launch options -nosplash -mod=@dayz -
BattlEye problems : Client not responding

Check your version of BattleEye and check the BattleEye website to compare versions, if they're the same then something else is blocking BattleEye like a firewall or Anti-virus. (Highly unlikely but hey anything can happen.) -

I'm don't have Arma II Free so I don't know exactly what could be the issue here, then again Arma II Free from what I heard isn't 'supported' but does work properly if done correctly. I can't really help since I never done it with retail and only Steam. Maybe someone with the same issue can help or you can use the search function? -
