Wait 5-10 minutes before you rejoin after a server reset, and if it says "spawning" in 59 seconds, alt tab and don't move the new character.

Last I heard I thought something like that the RPK, PKM, or RPD was most likely in development? Can't confirm this right now however because I can't remember where I read that.

Your character is forever immune, hence why there's a zombie apocolpyse. If it was spread through a bite, the infection would be laughably easy to contain. However, it was likely an airborne disease, so anyone who didn't have a natural immunity were infected.

Many consider maps outside the game itself cheating. (Finding out where you at is part of the survival aspect of the game.) However, I prefer in-game map myself anyway because I get my head knawed off significantly less. Also, even with all the maps put together, it only takes up 1 inventory space.

I believe that this game is teaching us that the zombies are actually the good guys. They just want to eat; they have no malicious intentions in mind.

Nah I just find it interesting that call of duty is basically the video game equivalent of hitler. Basically, whenever you want to make a bad comparison about a game, it's always cod...even though Halo, Counter Strike, Quake, Team Fortress 2, and others have much the same fast paced shooting gameplay, but they're viewed as relics. It just seems that cod is used a common knee-jerk reaction on the forums, a lot of time for good reason, like in your case, but sometimes without thinking twice about it in the case of others. -

The people who shoot you are either A. Bandits making you comfortable so that you let you your guard down. B. People thinking exactly what you are, except they follow through with it. I'd say 90% of KoS is out of fear of dying. Don't lose hope. There's lots of cool people out there too, you just gotta have faith. If you'd rather not take the chance, just stay out of sight, which is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. -

While you have your Steam library open, right click on DayZ, click properties, then go to Local Files. It'll say "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" which will take a few minutes.

Mhmm, issue with .50 I believe I heard that if you Verify Game Cache, it'll help? Haven't confirmed this yet, cause I rarely end up needing wells.

I spawned in Novo the last 8 times, for the record. :P In any case, I recommend you stop wasting your time trying to spawn where you want, and take the 10 minutes to just run there.

I've got to agree with the couple of people who said to ignore them..I know a couple hackers script kiddies myself and one I have to talk out of downloading hacks again almost weekly. They loooove attention, this is what they crave. While obviously the video was done with good intentions, this just increases their likeliness to hack. They're a long ways past the point of "man I really feel bad about doing this." The only thing that will stop hackers script kiddies is time for the dev team to work, and boredom on the hacker's script kiddie's part. If they get no attention out of it, they'll do it a few times and then likely either play the game normally or quit completely. -
