About 45 seconds. I happened to spawn next to someone on the shore (by Kamy) who had gotten sniped; he had full TTSKO and M4 and such. I looted him before the sniper could get to him, and zig zagged my way to safety in the north.

Dark Souls is too hard, what where the devs thinking when they made that game. (Also, for the record, DayZ SA as it stands is ridiculously easy. Easier than ArmA, easier than Xcom, I could go on. I don't quite know how people are even finding it the slightest bit difficult at the moment.)

So far haven't seen anyone suggest it yet..the MP43/MP44/StG44. This, like other weapons left behind by Nazi Germany, was spread around the edges of the earth as surplus, and is still occasionally seen among insurgents today. "The Sturmgewehr remained in use with the East German Nationale Volksarmee with the designation MPi.44 until it was eventually replaced with variants of the AK-47 assault rifle. The Volkspolizei used it until approximately 1962 when it was replaced by the PPSh-41. I'd bet a good amount of money that they can still be found in reasonable numbers in post soviet states where the Wehrmacht once tread. The thing I do find troublesome is that if the K98k is added, which I find fairly likely, that's 7.92x57 they're gonna add to the game, whereas the STG 44 takes 7.92x33. This would create 2 very close ammo types only used by 1 weapon, an enormous waste of the dev's resources and a very streamlined and incompatible round for in-game. They devs could just use artistic license and have them both take the same round, though I could see how this would frustrate those of us who want to the game to adhere to stricter realism. What do you think? Could this realistically work in game, or is it too far fetched?

AUG A3 seems a little Counter Terrorist-y. Though I see how it would be a more interesting gun if it could accept stannags. Whatever scrub mounts anything but the original AUG scope, however, will be branded a heretic and shot on sight.

AK74 only low tier? Son, did I ever tell ya about the time I was in Everon? That was back in '85...they issued us these M16A2 pieces of shit. But I took one of them damn commie's AK74, and that gun stayed with me until the end of the war, tell ya h'what.

Pfffft. It's simple. I either don't get shot, and live with a pristine gun. Or I get shot once and die, with a ruined gun. Ether way, the cleaning kit isn't a factor for me. :P pfft. Have you played this game? As soon as you need it there won't be a weapon cleaning kit in all Chernarus.

AKM. All you gotta do to kill someone who has an SKS is surprise them...they just fire 10 rounds in a row as fast as they can shoot, and miss every shot. You won't have so much luck with an AKM.
