No, I obviously don't want them all in dayz, but some variety would be nice, both because just having around five vehicles forever would get old fast, and for more incentive to keep playing in hopes of finding rare equipment. I know exactly what I paid for, you won't see me whining in the forums because the game hasn't met my every whim and demand. I'm not going to cut myself if there is no Humvees. :D However, as said in the above post, it can be quite costly to bring back damaged vehicles, and the u.s. often lends equipment to its pawns the countries it has fought in.

As evidenced by the U.N. clothing and U.S. military vests, and the chedaki berets, it appears the war was recent. And yes, I did see Humvees wrecks, thank you very much. Im not expecting a pristine, ready to go miracle, but a damaged one that you could get up and running with effort, and possibly mount weapons on top. And who's saying that the CDF didn't use some of the leftover U.S. equipment, as well as modern Russian equipment? (it wasn't just poorly equipped rebels, actual, modern Russia fought too)

Yes, actually, I do. :lol: 1. Yes, they did. 2. Its set in Chernarus. 3. You can find CDF, chedaki, and U.N. gear. 4. Arma references are even seen in billboards. 5. Where do you think all the American military gear came from?

Yes, they are playable by everyone, have been since 2001, really fun. Arma/ofp is one the few online games that allows for it. And thx. :)

No its not the same game as arma, but its the same storyline, set after the war. This isn't even up for debate, look it up.

Not possible AT THE MOMENT. Will be very possible once released. Just like all other ARMA/OFP games.

You are obviously very new. Dayz is part of ARMA. Its set after the campaign in ARMA II That's why you have m4s and such. Get it now? (and btw, dayz has attracted more kids/teenager than arma and ofp ever did) I seriously doubt the gas stations would be empty by the time of the apocalypse either, and if that's an argument, who's refilling the airfields with military grade equipment?

Barring the whole walking through walls thing, I think this is hilarious watching the pvp guys get owned, while I come out unscathed. :D Oh look, its less of a deathmatch, they ruined the game. :lol: -
What's with all these guys all "dis isn't war n008!!!!" One, cars are already on their way. There is plenty of fuel left in the gas stations in arma 2, why would they just run out? (I can see it expiring after a year, but that's another story) Two, there's plenty of post war equipment laying around, how is a technical such blasphemy? I'd expect to even find some armed Humvees left over from the marine's invasion. I'd also expect to see a few mounted grenade launchers laying around..
