Well while I was on vacation, apparently the person watching the house decided to play some dayz... I log back on in a full server expecting me to still be in the woods... Middle of the road in Cherno, fluorescent purple backpack, no pants, empty sks, half an inventory full of payday masks, including one on my face... It literally took 8 seconds to get shot.

Everywhere? I guess check towns, villiages, and farms. Otherwise completely random, especially the color.

Yeah, you always take that risk climbing a ladder. Just try to take it slow, and make sure no one is climbing the same time as you. Good luck!

Yeah it's technically multiple ladders, just use the scroll wheel when you stop.

They aren't planning any more updates. The current state of the game is the best they could come up with, and they're moving on towards greener pastures. I'm so glad they put the effort they did. Good work guys!

The uses of these clothes will be added later when being wet or cold actually does anything. So far as I know, they aren't planning on making eye protection a key feature, though. :lol:

Glad you're enjoying the game. Yeah...why you can't find a stick in...you know..the forest, is beyond me, but I have a feeling they'll make them harvestable from trees in a later update. If you're having trouble finding loot, try asking around. There's always certain sweet spots scattered around that continually give you good gear. (The piano houses for example.) Fires, camping, hunting, etc is coming very soon, it's on the dev's todo list. Can't wait! :lol:

They're fixing it atm. I must say I wish they'd fixed pathfinding before adding respawn, but patience is key. If you're finding it frustrating, maybe wait a month or two, or even wait until beta, it will be 9999999x better, believe me. Also, stealth is much better than speed/firepower when facing zombies. However, I do realize there's some moments where stealth doesn't work, in that case, it's good to have friends to back you up.

But who needs that much ammo anyway? It's not like it takes 150 mags to kill someone. Also, I wonder if this is caused by hacks, or just duping?

I don't SOS clowns...but I certainly give them a wide berth. However, my whole team is nothing but bike helmets & gas masks..and we give backpacks/food/water to fresh spawns. Everytime I've been tricked into a trap, it's a bambi lol, never a gas mask dude.

What if characters screamed in pain at first rather than the "uh-ow", attracting zombies from a long distance, and giving away your position? I always laughed at that part of Cold War Crisis & ARMA. *gets shot & crippled* "ah shit that hurts.."

People in gas masks are always friendly. :| No really, I've never been killed by a guy with a gas mask. It's always some guy in beanie, or a cowboy hat, or no pants.
