Yup and I was not even impressed with the game. What turned me off with ESO even more was the survey after. Again :rolleyes: -

That's the thing. You now own the game. Once it's fully released who get the full game without paying for it. -

Heh, getting into Alpha's back in the day was a chore sometimes. Some companies basically wanted a resume on your gaming experience. If you think $30 is a considerable then I am at a loss for words. Look at gaming companies such as EA who charge you $60-$70 for a broken product then charge you even more after words for all the DLC. Majority of games now a days cost over $100 just to get a reasonable number of hours of gameplay. -

This is one of the things that I really like about BiS. They are not afraid to make the game that they want and not sell out to the gaming world with half assed games just to make a quick buck -

I don't have any experience in development but I have learned over the years of my gaming that game engines are designed for certain things. BiS's engine has been primarily designed as a mil sim engine. Other companies design their game engine primarily for the role that they want to make their games to be about. -

Adding more gore is one thing, but wanting to turn this into a complete over the top horror flick is not going to happen. One of the suggestions I mentioned was the ability to have your melee weapons get embedded into the infected and have to attempt to pull it out. Example, having your axe/hatchet embed into the skull on an infected. You need to remember there are limitations to what the game engine can do. -

I think I know which thread you are talking about and it was rightfully closed as the OP couldn't get it through their head that an overly grotesque game this is not going to be. -

I actually miss the less loot. It's a complete treasure trove now and it really takes away from the scavenging. -

They are adding guns for us to test them and give feedback on how they are working. After that, they will more than likely change the spawn rate of the guns with certain ones being more rare. The constant bitching and moaning about the direction of the game is absurd as we are here to test. That includes testing, ahem, guns. -
There has been a lot of discussion about the AI and what they are. Let's see what you think.

Well now that they fixed the loot spawn, there is no wishing :p If you can't find one you are doing something wrong -
The reason I ask and created this poll is because I've seen a lot of complaining about the AI not being able to do what they are doing as in sprinting and jumping because the "dead" shouldn't and can't do that. Yet, when I've pointed out in the so called feedback thread that they are not undead I get flamed for being an idiot :huh:
