Oh you're right. Collect 10 pieces of wood and some stone and I can magically make a bow. Oh I think we need some crap from some animal too. I'll just smash one with a rock and get perfect meat and, cloth from it. -

Welcome to surviving. And in no way should should we be able to quickly meet up with friends. That's the whole point to your adventure. Just wait until fatigue and an updated hunger/thirst system come in. It'll take you dayz until you find your friends assuming you don't get eaten by hungry wolves/bears or have a zombie munch on you because you attempted to run 80km without taking a break and fell over from exhaustion.

I personally do not expect ARMA like accuracy as we are not trained soldiers in DayZ. I think their challenge right now is going to be getting the weapons to replicate average Joe firing them. -

MAN DOWN!!!!! Desyn got me bad tonight. Hit by a zombie, fractured legs, pants ruined along with my morphine. I should have put it in my back pack grrrr. Anyway, it was a zombie that appeared out of nowhere. If any medics are on send me a PM please :) All good. Had morphine stashed in my protector case -
