At $100/month it's not surprising servers come and go. That's a good chunk of change for a dead server so why keep it running?

You should only be able to respawn when your dead, period. Respawning while unconscious is just dumb and goes against the core gameplay.

Wait until admins have access to the coordinates of players, clans will be even more deadly when they are told of your exact position.

This is really a non issue as the developers have not once commented on 3pp. The only thing I do find funny is the fact that Bohemia is making a survival game where having this 3pp goes against anything that would account to surviving. Stealth? Nope. Ability to hide? Nope. It won't be much of a survival game when you can magically see everything you shouldn't.

The issue is lack of populated 1pp servers forcing those to play on 3pp servers but don't want to exploit. So now they are at an extreme disadvantage.

yes, because people accidentally log into a low pop to empty server, gear up and accidentally log into another low pop to empty server to get more gear then ssy, "oops, I didn't know it was low pop, better join a high pop server"

it's abused no more than the gamma exploit, FoV slider exploit and 3pp wall peeking, so yes, this seems to be intended considering the devs said they want people to hop servers for finding parts.

If you have to server hop you're just really bad at the game. There is no sugar coating it. So once you can admit you're terrible at DayZ, people can stop making threads like this.

Look what modding did to the mod. It went from something great to something that was not DayZ anymore. Now I've heard that the developers won't allow modding in a sense of allowing 1000 vehicles, starting weapons, self blood bag etc but that can all easily change. DayZ Mod was a mod of Arma that then became DayZ Mod the modded.

I revel at the thought that modders will take away from what DayZ is striving to be. If the mod is any assurance then the standalone is doomed and I feel bad for the developers.

DayZ is suppose to resemble an apocalypse, where would the magical music be coming from? This falls in line with people wanting floating name tags and global chat. None of those fit the setting that DayZ is trying to achieve.
