I can't get the timer for my server to work but what I did instead is put the time that the server starts and ends in the MOTD. Not my problem if they don't bother to read it ;)

Desync hit you hard. I've had this happen many times. Get the open door option, nothing then it shows close door but it's already closed lol.

He's been on some agenda to remove the infected from the start. Myself and other have explained to him there is already a game that he's looking for and it's called Wasteland on Arma 3. For some reason he wants DayZ to have no infected and just be a a pvp fuckfest

Alpha is the excuse and will stay the excuse. Again we are here to test the bloody game and not play on our own personal playground. Hell, I'll be surprised if they even have separate hives come beta. Mr. Hall has already stated that he supports server hopping just by his comment about having parts for vehicles strewn across multiple servers connected to a hive. That's just plain wrong and very stupid to do. Hell, the fact that they even allow server rentals in an Alpha state is mind boggling. -
Helicopters will be owned by the clan who runs the server plain and simple. This was prevalent in the mod and it will happen again in the SA. I personally don't think they actually fit in the setting at all.

Wayze, I agree with you but it's because it's alpha that they don't. I personally don't get or understand why they use the hive system to begin with. I pay good money to rent a server and it sucks knowing that people might not join it until they hop 20 other servers to get gear only to come pvp on mine. -

What servers are you guys playing on that has all these apparent hackers? I have yet to come across unlimited ammo shooting bad guys, teleporters, invisible players or any of the hacks mentioned. -
Do you want to see personal statistics on death? ex: Killer, kills, shots fired etc...

The only problem with adding k/d/r statistics to a game like DayZ is that it takes away from the game itself. It becomes less of a survival game and more about your stats. This is not MLG. -

I'm pretty sure servers will eventually have the option to have global/side chat. I personally will not have global/side chat on my server. As long as it's an option to turn on/off I don't see the issue but again, just another tool to segregate the community.

The weapons are fine. Stop going full auto and expecting your shots to be precise -
You mean you can't fire 30-60 rounds full auto from an M4 and hit dead center with every shot? You sir fail at life ;)
