That's because there is absolutely zero survival elements in the game right now. The pvp aspect has been tested for months, it's works. Now it's time to move on from that and test surviving but until the devs get their shit together it's still going to be a pvp fuckfest. Hopefully in the next few months we'll see survival slowly get implemented.

I play DayZ because it's one of the only shooters out there that doesn't propaganda how great the US army is. Also, I like the whole survival aspect as I don't play DayZ like CoD, I play it to see how long I can survive with what I can scavenge.

This is exactly how persistent storage is going to pan out. Plop storage in secure place, server hop all the empty servers and collect everything, place it in the storage, go pvp till your hearts content without the worry of having to die because you have your phat lewtz stashed away. Bad, terrible, shit gameplay.

I hear ya. I use 3 pp for screwing around on with testing and pvp. Hardcore for actually playing the game but I definitely do not like not being able to see over my shoulder with a mountain pack or the down jacket. I will stick with the taloon pack before picking up a mountain pack. Are those the only two items that hinder the over the shoulder view? -

I dunno man, I've been trying to fit multiple cans of beans into my jeans and it just isn't working -
You are aware the the game is still missing the majority of key elements that will make this into a survival game right? Playing CoD along the coast is all fine and dandy but when you start freezing, getting sick and fatigued from all your running a back pack full of ammo isn't going to help you.

And that there lies the problem within DayZ right now. Players are being coddles with an abundance of ammo, food, water, clothing and other various items. I can't even imagine the uproar that's going to happen when this game decides to crank it up a notch. -

Any kid can put in born in 1905. Also, there should have been an IQ test prior to being able to sign up to the forums and also before clicking the purchase button.

Those pics don't really looking like your surviving an apocalypse, they actually look like you're enjoying yourself with a nice fishing trip and having a scenic hike in the woods. :p Nice pics tho. There is a gallery section that those should get moved to.

To a small but extremely loud minority. Again, as I stated earlier in this thread I want DayZ to kick my ass, make me regret every action I take, but I don't need every fucking gun in the world for that to happen. Wait till your precious mods come out and you can make DayZ the dream army sim you want it to be. -
