After 433 hours I have come to the conclusion that pvp works, hunger and thirst works and the infected are broken. Now that we've established that after 6 months, it'd be nice if we could actually test surviving. You know, diseases, infections, fatigue, freezing. The meat to what would make DayZ an actual game. -

Again, this was talked about for months. Hell, there was even a thread about changing engines on these very forums where it was explained. The majority who are whining want personal phone calls with information on all updates. Use the goddamn forums. All the info is here. -

Are you living under a rock? It's been talked about for months on these here forums. Hell, even forum members have had to tell people like you that the game engine that is being used in not the RV engine anymore. -

Bohemia has no obligation to create the game you or I want. They will cteate what they want and may inherit ideas from the playerbase as long as it fits in with what they are creating. -

And this is were the build up of frustration is in a sandbox game. Play how you want but it still comes down to numbers and min/maxing. Unless the developers can figure out a way to make pvp equally balanced to survival and in a sense pve, this game will always be lopsided until mods come out and the community gets segregated. This may not be so bad assuming there is a large enough player base to support multiple aspects of gameplay. -
Greetings all. I play with a small group of friends and decided a few weeks back to rent my own server. Grave Diggers Fun Time is a 40 player hardcore server that restarts every four hours(I have no control of this). Server start time is 10 am to 2pm. I would have nights but due to the gamma exploit and really bad bloom during the transition from day to night I have gone to a day only server for now. Server name and IP in my signature.

Well it's been a fun run but good things must come to an end some day. Due to the slow updating I am bringing my server down until further notice. July 4th will be the last day of service.
