You have to look at it this way. As you can tell, by the many posters on these very forums, that people do not want it to take long to get gear so why would base building be any different. All people want to do is get an axe, chop some wood and voila, planks. That's exactly they way I picture building being done. No need for a hammer, no need for nails. Simplicity for the simple minded. -

Ya because in a world where food is scarce, even for animals, the aggressive ones won't become aggressive? :rolleyes: There is a reason people don't go camping once hibernation is over or just before it starts. -

It is way out of line. You opened a thread for a discussion but are refusing to listen to any other discussion but your own words. This thread is stupid and pointless.

You discussion is flawed because you are only telling people DayZ is one thing and others have pointed out that DayZ is multiple things. Again you are telling people "PvP" only in a game that is at most 20% complete in the aspect of survival so if you want to have a discussion about the apparent "End Game" you have to listen to what others are saying without sticking your fingers in your ear going lalalalala. /thread

sadly that's not what the loud screamers on the forums are saying. Players want easy, easy and easy. They paid for the product so why should they have to invest time into gearing up their character?

No, you have to accept the fact the game will be all of that, not just your pvp playground. Everyone is free to play how they choose but must also deal with the fact they may get thrown in to a situation that they are unprepared to deal with.
