    I don't think the hide body is functioning properly. The body stays but can't be looted and I believe it is around 30 mins now for it to actually disappear.

    It hasn't been fixed because not everyone experiences this. I've climbed every tower, every ladder and every staircase in the game and have never once experienced this.

    Would it be any different than driving? You'd be doing the exact same thing except in a vehicle. And FYI, our characters run at 30km/h

    Lol, are you seriously asking this? People are already bitching about having to run for more than 10 mins. I couldn't imagine what these forums would be like if run speed was turned down.

    Oh, to answer the question about pricing, I expect the private shards to be the same price if not more than renting a public shard which is already outrageously expensive. About $100/month Canadian dollars just for a 40 man server.

    Not sure which dev said it but it was mentioned that the run speed will not be toned down until a vehicle is implemented.

    What exactly are we agreeing/disagreeing with here? Admins should be able to view logs to see if there are potential hackers/cheaters, have the ability to kick and ban, be able to change change the speed of the day/night cycle. What admins do not need is powers to give items, god mode, teleport, place as much loot as they want. So what exactly is the issue here?

    That's the problem. People are constantly comparing this to Arma because well, it was made by the same company. So those people seem to have it in their head that this game should still play like Arma and we are trained elite soldiers.

    One thing I'd like to add is that the price on DayZ server rentals is outrageous considering the lack of anything the admins can currently do.

    Pretty much all of this. I rented a server for Rust back in the beginning of this year and the tools I had for that game were ridiculous. I could add any item I wanted to myself or a player, fly, god mode, insta-kill, you name it and it was there. Really really stupid.

    I have seen this happen many a times. In fact last night it was doing it while I played with a friend. What I'm wondering is when other people who are hostile see this and you are prone but it shows you standing doing the funky dance, if they shoot your standing character does it track it as a hit especially if they head shot you while you are standing to them?

    Server hopping to stash gear should not be allowed hence why when you die you shouldn't have access to your tent anymore. That's what I am talking about. Sorry I should have clarified.

    Because there is no effort in stock piling when all you need to do is server hop for loot. That's the difference.
