Your example is terrible and I disagree :P -
Do not confuse bandit with a regular pvp player. Bandits actually do more stuff than just shooting.

There has been no update for the stable branches on this fix. It is also only a persistent server problem.

What are your graphics settings? It appears that's what is causing the issue. It also look like you've cut and pasted your character into the image because of this :p -

Totally agree but the optimizing will most likely come once beta hits. I still would like to see more animations such as the ones posted above but it is definitely not something I would want to be a priority. -

Animations for: Digging through your backpack pulling/placing items in your backpack picking up items/objects/weapons wiping forehead when getting hot rubbing arms/shivering when getting cold holding the head of your enemy while they are on their knees begging for mercy before you slit their throat because they attempted to steal your can opener so they could open a can of peaches because they were starving and they were friendly but were scared because you looked like someone who had just ate another human which in turn you chop them up and cook them and have a good meal. etc -

Here is a comprise, can't resort to cannibalism until the red hunger status. You know, realistic, desperate and needing food, weak, barely walk, hallucinating, willing to kill another human to survive. Oh who am I kidding, you guys would go ape shit over that, the one simple option that's an either, "do it or you don't seems a lot simpler." -

We can already do the apple, not sure about a water bottle -
Not to mention that it turns the game from being an apocalypse to just a run of the mill shooter with looting.
