    But it doesn't happen to me and has never happened to me. How do you suppose they fix something when it's turned off and they aren't collecting data about it?

    because it doesn't happen to everyone thus they need to keep it on to collect data for those that it happens to. Want a tip to prevent it happening? Stop running full tilt through buildings. You're welcome.

    3rd and first person are different server types thus do not share. You can play on any third person public server and keep the same third person character, same when switching to first person. Public and private servers do not share and as far as I know, it's one character per private server.

    The game isn't suppose to dictate how you play, that's why. That's the difference between open world sandbox and games that hold your hand and tell you what you can and cannot do.

    I have been waiting patiently for them to start doing this. Hell I don't remember the last time I actually needed any medical attention outside of bandaging. Unfortunately the KoS crowd has been extremely vocal against any form of anything slowing down their kill streak progress. Hell, they go as far as complaining that something like this forces them to not play the game how they want......

    You mean having to actual fight off an attacking infected instead of running away?? That's unheard of!!! We should increase running speed to ludicrous speed so we can get to a military base and be armed instantly.

    That all depends on what kind of computer you have. DayZ Standalone is very playable and is worth the money, imo.

    Atoc issue with AMD card

    The last Nvidia card I bought was a 560ti. After that went back to AMD as it just wasn't worth and extra $300 for another 10-15 fps on their higher end cards.

    Kind of how the movement was before they made it into a twitch shooter? Weapons, weight, fatigue, sickness, being wet, being cold, starving, overfed, footwear should all effect how our characters move in the game and is something I really hope the look into.

    I'm pretty sure that's what they mean by "soft" You won't get a message saying, congratulations, you've gained +5 in axe swinging, it just happens.

    It's coming, people screamed for skills and it's coming. I'm pretty sure the term "soft" means it's not going to show stats and numbers but I assure you the botters will be running aorund all over improving skills....

    The branches are separate. You keep both characters. The only crappy thing is you have to download each time you want to twitch from stable to experimental and back again.

    Apparently driving around in the V3S makes you cold really quick. Can the devs fix the heater please :D
