    balancing persistence loot

    Persistence is currently broken. Loot is spawning in mass quantities in some cities and not at all in others. As Rags had pointed out, the current system is still an alpha work in progress.

    So much win in this thread. Can't have realistic speeds because of "zombies", herp derp. They aren't undead zombies but humans with a disease so there is a good chance that can happen like real life. Mind blowing I know.

    Ever thought about thinking outside the box and look at the whole picture? Interaction is the biggest driving force to this game. Ya, even tho survival is non existent, guns are a plenty, there are those who actually just roam the lands for the sake of meeting people and seeing what kind of situations can arise from it. Any idiot can go pew pew all day long.

    They should sustain you until you reach another location to try looking for actual food. It takes a lot of apples right now. Heck, it takes a lot of food once you hit the danger zone

    There is absolutely no reason at this stage in development that you should be starving. There is enough berry bushes and apple trees that you can sustain yourself until you get further inland to find food.

    The way I see it, after I'm done scavenging what I can find I want to worry about my next destination and not think, "Oh it's only a couple of minutes up the road at full sprint." Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment but I want the game to make me suffer and think about my choices of what I can grab and take before I journey on. Are those shotgun shells worth it or should I take the food? Right now it's guns and hopefully that will all change in the next coming months.
