As many others have pointed out. This is Alpha and maybe 10% complete. The gun toting morons who play this game like CoD will most likely be the first ones to quit playing once the difficulty gets ramped up and weapons are harder to find while survival will become even harder. Hopefully, to the point that you will cherish that bag of rice or can of beans. Once the novelty of playing Call of DayZ wears off and these guys all die from hunger, because their backpacks are full of ammo herp derp, most of us will rejoice.

I dunno man, I've ran through Prigorodki to Dubky all the way to Novoselky and in the end had about 40 zombies chasing me. They are there it's just most people are running straight to the airfields and are avoiding them.

I wholeheartedly agree. I've been enough enough alpha tests that were completely unplayable lag fests or game breaking bugs that this alpha feels almost like a beta. Heck, some beta tests I've done were more like alpha's lol

DayZ is very playable, unless you're trying to run it off of a pentium 3 with windows 98. The only issues that I've personally been experiencing, which have just started happening in the past couple of "dayz", is server latency has been through the roof, 50 mbps connection speed here, and major desync issues.

Well considering there is only one option left when you are kitted out. I go hunt people. Soon we will have other option and I will eventually do those. I use to just live off the land in the original mod just with a canteen, hatchet, matches, hunting knife and a rifle.

The only way they can address the issue is to separate the two. Mixing them into one server should be a no no.

Heh, I've been playing on close to full servers and am rarely running into anyone. Checking all the airstrips, major cities and not a single soul. Now I'm just camping all the hotspots for server hoppers B)

Anyway, back on topic, 3rd person is bad and is for bads. I can't wait for more hardcore servers where the playing field is even and no 3rd person players is getting the advantage

Heh, that's kind of why I was playing rust, for the building aspect but the funny thing is, I get lost in rust all the time and yet in DayZ, I know where I am on a map that is 10 times if not larger than rust lol

FFS, you're playing the wrong game. Want a twitch shooter, go play CoD or BF. This is not a fucking twitch shooter and has been pointed out numerous times that it's not.

3rd person is for bads who can't play properly, plain and simple. It's been proven countless times that 3rd person give you a clear advantage over those who play 1st person only. Continue being bads, it doesn't bother me cuz I will still kill you.

Hackers that I've run into = 0. Exploiters I've run into = too many to count. What you probably experienced is lag and desync problems. My only gripe right now is players who are exploiting any and all bugs that are in DayZ but hey, it's Alpha, and I'm a grown man so I can deal with it until they fix the issues because this game rocks.

FYI, turning everything off in rendering, especially anti-aliasing will give you a huge performance boost

Jesus christ. You don't own shit. The server is not yours. You are renting it and have to and will abide by the renters rules. Just like when you rent a car. It doesn't give you the right to go and repaint it, change the stereo and turn it into a gangsta mobile.

I've found that the magnum seems to be highly inaccurate. Bullets seem to go left or right a lot
