The hardcore servers are borked it appears. Can't join any as it says wait for host. Not sure about regular because I don't play easy mode B)

Server hopping hasn't gotten worse but I also don't think it has gotten any better either. Instead of swapping from server to server in once spot, now they just have to gather gear in an area for 30 mins. Swap servers and repeat all over. Yes it is frustrating to join one of the many servers I've added to my favorites to run around for over an hour from empty town to city to military bases just to find out they've still been cleared out. I do watch the player list and see who joins and leave right away and, ya, having to wait a whole whopping 5 minutes is garbage. Make it a minimum 10 mins. Also there has to be some kind of coding to differentiate between a player clicking log off to a player actually losing connection so people don't get penalized for getting disconnected.

Server hopping is definitely cheating, the gamma thing, more of an exploit than a cheat and well, only bad players need to exploit or cheat. Nuff said

There is a difference in what a constructive thread is. Saying that X needs to be in game is not constructive. Also people will jump down your throat about something that they deem isn't priority to the alpha

People get yelled at when they suggest something stupid and not needed. Yes this is immature. People also get yelled at when they constantly complain about this game being buggy when it's been stated that it's an Early Access Alpha

So only one type of hive is allowed to do this? Do you not see how stupid this idea is and why it won't work?(Not saying you're stupid just for the record) Even the fortification of buildings can't work on regular servers do to needing them to be transferred. The servers should have been designed from day one with the SA to have characters server specific for this to work. And you and I both know that the players would be in an uproar if they couldn't hop from server to server freely

I personally have no issue with using TS. Do I find it cheap and very nonstrategic? Absolutely. But hey, it's their so why not abuse it. My friends and I use TS but we don't go joining up with random people just to give us an edge because that makes us really bad players who don't know how to play.

Uh think before typing. I play in a group of 3-5 friends. Btw I was answering the question on how to identify friend from foe. People on here are so stupid and need everything handed to them with highlighting what everything is.

Communication is what you use to identify your friends. "Are you wearing and orange rain coat and are looking behind the orange building by the side of the road?" If the the answer is you yes you've won. If the answer is no start shooting.

They just need to change how the servers work. Hardcore = no PP or gamma adjustments available Normal = PP = low gamma = no adjustments Easy mode = PP off Gamma = cranked( for pussies only)

If you want base building, go by some Lego <_< . Aside from that, how are they going to do this with server hopping? Your magical base that you "map edit" in goes with you? What if your base is on top of someone elses now? This idea is so full of fail it hurts.

And what type of PC are are you running? <_<

This is exactly how my friends and I play. Players with a gun is almost going to be KoS, unless it's shouldered, while players with melee or bare hands we will approach with caution and attempt to help them any way we can but if we get no response.... well can't say I feel bad for the consequences.

If it only worked like that. New players to a server would be screwed if none of the items and gear respawned. And yes, you could say go kill someone for it but only people with really bad aim get taken out by someone with their fists
