And I' telling you that not adding your system specs when making bitch posts on this forums isn't going to help either. There is a lot of posters on here who can easily help but without out the proper info it's just a crap shoot. For all we know the majority raging about their fps issues are running 10 year old machines. -

For the love of god people, post your damn systems specs. Every thread I've read about fps issues no one has posted their damn system specs. That info alone is very important for helping solve your issues. -

In the end Bohemia is a company and companies are out to make money. If they can cash in by getting a hell of a lot more people to buy this game by making it simple, then guess what? DayZ will not be the game we were hoping it would be but I hope it does not go this way and the money they make off this game doesn't go to their heads. -

I totally agree. We do not need the "Morrowind style of run around and increase athletics because you are running around" lol. This game is based all on player skill not some special stat that you get to increase by time played. This idea should just be thrown in the trash.

Fall damage was off yesterday. Today's patch turned it back on and it states in the patch notes - Systems: Falling now causes dynamic damage (roughly, fall of >5m break legs depending on equipment, >15m probably death)

Rain hasn't changed my fps but I have noticed a slight drop in fps when coming into cities where as before everything was fairly smooth. i7-3770k clocked @ 4.2ghz. 16g of ddr3 1333 ram. HiS 7850 2gb slightly overclocked. 60 fps in the open most settings maxed but it halves now down to about 30 in places like Berizino where I use to get 40-50 fps. -
I get that but what is the right way to play the game? To go an kill as many players as possible? To survive as long as you can? To be a medic hero that saves people lives? To be a guy who reads all the books in the game? There really isn't a right or wrong way to play the game. And yes, I agree that going out just to find books to increase your skills/stats is not the way this game should go but in the end the loudest whiners will win. I trust Bohemia as a company but at what point will the line be drawn from wanting to make lots of $$ to appease to the simpletons

You mean like people finding food before playing the game? Anyway, no to skill points or any form of skill progression. New players would just get eaten up by players who have survived and have their +20 accuracy because they kept firing a gun at zombies for 20 hours. Bad idea and this should not happen and if it does, it was only a waste of $30.

To play a hero. Stand in a top floor of a building. Wait till someone passes by and kindly ask them to stop. If they don't, keep hiding in the corner rocking backing and forth with your arms around your knees saying, "I only want to help, I only want to help." -
I think the point is why would anyone need medical supplies when servers restart every 1-4 hours. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your efforts and it's an awesome idea. It's just too early at this stage in the game but hopefully when things open up you'll be able to fulfill your idea of being a medic in a post apocalyptic world

Jesus christ people. This game is at most 10% complete. Did none of you do any research on what the game is about before you bought it? Do you not see the opening screen that states that this game is in alpha and will be missing features that could interrupt your gameplay?? Quit whining and bitching and go play something else until this game has completed it's course. Then come back and give your input.
