What points? The points the he tried to state that the mod was the first ALPHA, which is false? The point that he's raging about a game that is in early access ALPHA and Rocket himself has stated to not buy it if you're not willing to participate in it? The point that every time you load the goddamn game up it tells you that it's in early access ALPHA and you have to click the I UNDERSTAND button to get to the main screen?

I've been playing on the experimental and it does feel smoother but I personally haven't noticed an FPS increase. It's odd tho because barely a couple of weeks ago there was a lot of rage posts about FPS issues. Maybe people haven't finally learned that it's actually an ALPHA and not a full release :rolleyes: . Any, hopefully people keep posting in here and use this thread for issues regarding the performance. Maybe a mod could be nice enough and sticky this thread seen as how there isn't a tech forum :P. Heh, nevermind, I guess the troubleshooting could be considered the tech forum. Perhaps this would be a better spot for it but I don't know how much use it would get in there?

Truthfully as I don't believe there are as many hacks as people claim, the desync/networking code should be close to the top of their list of things they need to fix. Do you think they should release this game with shitty network coding?

I've seen some good cpu setups here and no is really complaining about their fps. This is a good thing. Are any of you unhappy with your current fps or do you feel they are where they should be due to the current state of the game?

Umm, I believe it's a glitch and those lights are not suppose to be on. For whatever reason they put them in to even make this glitch is beyond me but there is a lot bigger priorities besides these street lamps. Also if you actually walk up to them you'll see that there isn't even a light on them

No, they didn't double in staff. Mr. Hall just bought too many doughnuts with hill bazllions of moneys and now they are all fat. They doubled in weight size, not team size

See, the things is, I can survive for weeks on a hardcore server, yet I can't survive an hour on a regular? I still only play 1pp on regular yet, guys camping on rooftops or building can see me coming a mile away. And most of the time it's not even them that kill me, they just use the advantage of the view and let their buddies know where I am. So, in conclusion, 3pp does make it easy mode for those who use it yet it is not an exploit but extremely cheap tactic. And as other have pointed out, it was in the ARMA games for the simulation and tactical part of the single player mode. Hell, didn't the Rainbow Six series have it so you could set up tactical points while playing single player?

That one I would have to personally call out and ask for pics and video.

Look buddy, I shot a guy today at the southern military base. When I shot him I saw him still running yet my buddy confirmed I had a kill. Don't patronize people and post your crap here when yourself have no clue wtf you are talking about. I was clearly desynced and to me it looked like it could be a hacker but I know better. Good day.

Try lowering you shadow detail and AA. Keep them on but maybe try High or Normal for Shadows as well as AA. Give that a shot and check your FPS. It doesn't make the game look any less bland plus you may be able to raise your objects and terrain so your game will look better

What is your in game settings? and how much ram are you running? These are things that need to be put into posts if people are going to be able to help you

You are correct but what it does help with is making sure that those updates are correct for when they do get released as they have more people to analyze them before releasing them. The other thing that it will help on is doing more for the updates, as in adding more content per update.(hopefully)

You look like you're pretty much on par with the fps you should be getting. It seems that some of us with decent systems get around the minimum 30 fps. Is that in cities that you get those frame rates?

My only suggestion that I can think of is possible adding more ram, at least get 8 gigs. Others have stated that increasing CPU speed does nothing but I'll leave that at your discretion to overclock. Also, try setting your video memory to auto.

I am surprised you can even get the game to run on that as that is below the minimum requirements

Ya, I get approximately the same fps as you in the cities. And both you and I are pretty much on par to what the FPS should be in the ALPHA until they do some optimization.

Your CPU is definitely your bottle neck. The RV engine is very CPU heavy. Unfortunately you're not going to see much more increase even with optimization. I've updated my post to show the system requirements for DayZ
