We do not need a difficulty slider.(By this I mean we don't need a more hardcore server type) This game has two settings, 1pp or 3pp nothing less, nothing more. The game should stay the same across the bored in terms of hardcore playing with pvp, pve(infected & wild animals) and survival (starving, freezing, getting sick or dying of thirst)

Missions that will be currently up coming: Medic - Search for survivors and help out the less fortunate with medical supplies, mending broken arms/legs, curing diseases etc Support - Search for survivors or team mates and make sure everyone has enough ammo to help them fend of bandits and infected Hunter - Hunt wild game to gather food provisions for yourself or to hand out to others Bandit/Badguy - Prey on the weak and either kill or rob them(hopefully kidnapping will come in to play at some point) Bandit Hunter/Goodguy - Protect the weak and innocent from bandits and infected Mechanic - Fix and repair automobiles for yourself, friends or random players If you are looking for missions such as go kill 10 infected and bring back 10 infected brains, this is the wrong game for you. Also, those are just made up names for the mission types based on playstyle just to simplify it.

My only gripe with the standalone is the server hopping. Players going from low pop to low pop to get the best shit and then join a high pop and pretend they are uber leet players that worked so hard to get their easy mode gear.

your 7730 is a bit on the weak side so it may be hard to get better frames without lowering settings more

Exactly. I drop down to 30 fps in the game now with fairly good settings. I still find the game play smooth and am able to defend myself with out having to worry about video lag. As I had stated earlier in the thread and also a moderator said the same thing, the fps the most of us are getting is reasonable for the sate that the game is in on the settings that we play. I can go full tilt on all settings and still run at about 20-25 fps in the cities but i can see the choppiness and I don't like it.

This is true, I don't want this to turn into a pissing match tho. I created this thread so we as a community could help others who may have been having fps issues and so far no one has complained yet. Which is a very good thing.

The idea does sound cool but I don't really see it fitting just for the type of skills that could be available. I mean, ya, you could have a list of skills like, cooking, fishing,weapon smithing, tailoring, hunting and various skills for your weapons but really, you don't forget how to do these things. Oh, better find a book so I can get better at cooking canned beans :rolleyes: .

I personally think that render distance should be equal across the board just to put everyone on a level playing field in that aspect. Unfortunately it is most likely not possible due to varying computer specs. Nothing wose then getting shot at by something you can't see :(

So do you feel that your fps is where it should be for the state that the game is in? Also, what are your system specs?

Uh ya ok buddy. Go read my thread. Learn what helping people is about. Like I said, use this one to complain and accomplish nothing, makes no difference to me.

Oh, if you want me to stop asking to people to post in another thread where we can attempt to help them and use this one to bitch and moan and accomplish nothing, I can do that. Enjoy :)

No I'm not server hopping, believe it or not i actually do test the game out but how or why am I desyncing as the only player on the server? What is causing this?

That's why I was asking because I thought it was trying to sync the information with all the players not just the server and as I play on your server exclusively, I've been seeing it a lot more than it used to, not that you have any control over it.

Awesome thanks guys. It's just been happening a lot more recently and getting really annoying. Luckinly it hasn't gotten me killed yet but the desync has lasted up to almost 5 mins on some occasions
