Exactly. I drop down to 30 fps in the game now with fairly good settings. I still find the game play smooth and am able to defend myself with out having to worry about video lag. As I had stated earlier in the thread and also a moderator said the same thing, the fps the most of us are getting is reasonable for the sate that the game is in on the settings that we play. I can go full tilt on all settings and still run at about 20-25 fps in the cities but i can see the choppiness and I don't like it.

This is true, I don't want this to turn into a pissing match tho. I created this thread so we as a community could help others who may have been having fps issues and so far no one has complained yet. Which is a very good thing.

The idea does sound cool but I don't really see it fitting just for the type of skills that could be available. I mean, ya, you could have a list of skills like, cooking, fishing,weapon smithing, tailoring, hunting and various skills for your weapons but really, you don't forget how to do these things. Oh, better find a book so I can get better at cooking canned beans :rolleyes: .

I personally think that render distance should be equal across the board just to put everyone on a level playing field in that aspect. Unfortunately it is most likely not possible due to varying computer specs. Nothing wose then getting shot at by something you can't see :(

So do you feel that your fps is where it should be for the state that the game is in? Also, what are your system specs?

Uh ya ok buddy. Go read my thread. Learn what helping people is about. Like I said, use this one to complain and accomplish nothing, makes no difference to me.

No I'm not server hopping, believe it or not i actually do test the game out but how or why am I desyncing as the only player on the server? What is causing this?

That's why I was asking because I thought it was trying to sync the information with all the players not just the server and as I play on your server exclusively, I've been seeing it a lot more than it used to, not that you have any control over it.

Awesome thanks guys. It's just been happening a lot more recently and getting really annoying. Luckinly it hasn't gotten me killed yet but the desync has lasted up to almost 5 mins on some occasions

Yes he did but it doesn't add up or make sense when I am the only person on the server. It would make sense to be trying to sync up to other players

What points? The points the he tried to state that the mod was the first ALPHA, which is false? The point that he's raging about a game that is in early access ALPHA and Rocket himself has stated to not buy it if you're not willing to participate in it? The point that every time you load the goddamn game up it tells you that it's in early access ALPHA and you have to click the I UNDERSTAND button to get to the main screen?

I've been playing on the experimental and it does feel smoother but I personally haven't noticed an FPS increase. It's odd tho because barely a couple of weeks ago there was a lot of rage posts about FPS issues. Maybe people haven't finally learned that it's actually an ALPHA and not a full release :rolleyes: . Any, hopefully people keep posting in here and use this thread for issues regarding the performance. Maybe a mod could be nice enough and sticky this thread seen as how there isn't a tech forum :P. Heh, nevermind, I guess the troubleshooting could be considered the tech forum. Perhaps this would be a better spot for it but I don't know how much use it would get in there?

Truthfully as I don't believe there are as many hacks as people claim, the desync/networking code should be close to the top of their list of things they need to fix. Do you think they should release this game with shitty network coding?

I've seen some good cpu setups here and no is really complaining about their fps. This is a good thing. Are any of you unhappy with your current fps or do you feel they are where they should be due to the current state of the game?

Umm, I believe it's a glitch and those lights are not suppose to be on. For whatever reason they put them in to even make this glitch is beyond me but there is a lot bigger priorities besides these street lamps. Also if you actually walk up to them you'll see that there isn't even a light on them

No, they didn't double in staff. Mr. Hall just bought too many doughnuts with hill bazllions of moneys and now they are all fat. They doubled in weight size, not team size
