Here OP. Simple sum up - "The flaw is the playerbase. I don't think Mr. Hall envisioned douchebags and asshats running around playing this like it's Call of Duty." The game is fine, Dean realized he couldn't control players behaviors so it didn't turn out to be the way he saw it. -

It also takes two minutes to read the warning label that pops up in the middle of your screen with he big red "I UNDERSTAND" button at the bottom <_< Plus there wouldn't be so many raging little nobodies if people learned to understand what "EARLY ACCESS ALPHA" means. Believe it or not, most of us are sick of repeating ourselves to the same stupid questions everyday. -

Nope, nothing to do with less weapons but ore to do with actual in game elements getting in the way. Rain causing ou to get wet which then causes you to start getting cold which then..... You get the picture. Just a lot of little elements are going to impede the whole, "I'm a 1337 quickscopeubersniperheadshotter" mentality that's been running rampant around here. Like I said, I'm all for KoS but now it'll be more of a "think before you shoot" style. Do you want to alert a horde of infected to your location just so you can kill that unarmed player? Go ahead but don't come whining to the forums that pve is getting in the way of easy kills. -

That's the problem. There is too much freedom. Not that I have an issue with shooting people on sight. It's just, that's all there is right now. You're freedom won't be so free once other elements are put in that will impede you ability to just randomly attack players. -

Uh, read his post again. He explained the the problem is not being KoS'd but server hoppers getting easy gear. So yes, there is a problem and it's not KoS -
The only time I've jumped from an infected attacking me is when it actually lunged at me.

Oooh, this is good. Noise is finally attracting attention. Hopefully when a player is bleeding or has fresh wounds the infected can smell them and start chasing. Must make surviving dangerous!!!! -

Adding exhaustion, more infected to hide from(having to crawl/sneak by without alerting the hordes), getting hungry and thirsty faster from running would give a more sense of feel to the map being large. If it wasn't for the fact that you can run full tit non stop without the fear of anything this map would be a lot bigger. -

I would love to play on a night server but unfortunately due to the gamma exploit it ruins the whole immersion. Sadly this will most likely never get fixed so the Day in DayZ will be exactly what it is, DayZtime only. Sad panda :(
