  1. Most are probably just teenage punks in real life, playing out some sort of sociopathic alpha-male fantasy. By playing into their game, allowing yourself to be handcuffed, dropping what little stuff you have, getting on your knees, etc. you're just giving them a chance to take your stuff without damage before they shoot you. And chances are, they will just shoot you. I can't count how many videos I've seen on youtube where goons like this just murder the hapless players anyway. And worst of all, you're satisfying their desire to dominate others. Grow a pair and go down fighting. Don't give them the satisfaction of watching you grovel for mercy. Fisticuffs - Learn how to circle strafe and land knock-out punches to the head. You can one-hit knock other players down if they lack head protection. Once they are on the ground, pummel them. Swarm - If you are with a buddy or others, all of you should bum rush them. Chances are, several of you will go down, but you might be able to take down one or two of them as well. Sprint like crazy, and learn how to "punch sprint" for 20% more speed. Attrition - At the very least, make them waste their ammo. By allowing them to take your stuff without a fight, you just encourage them to continue doing it. Finally, if you just spawned recently anyway, what have you got to lose? Besides your dignity...

These actions will only encourage to people KOS.

Actually since KOS is so prevalent, the mere act of pointing your gun at another player means that imminent combat should be assumed. Ergo, because of the high prevalence of KOS, not pre-combat-logging is a virtual death sentence. Effectively, it's a circular issue. KOS is prevalent because of combat logging, and combat logging is prevalent because of KOS. At the root though, KOS can and will still happen even if combat (or pre-combat) logging is fixed.

    How to check temperature/blood level?

FYI - saline bags are much better than blood bags. Salines bags work for all blood types, and provide 5 x as much blood. -> http://dayzmedic.com/items/saline-bag-iv

Killed by a Bug, No more playing for me.

This exact thing happened to my brother while we were playing the other day. Rather than wait for hours for him to get gear back or come all the way to Vybor from Solnichny - I decided to jump off the roof with him and share his fate. Don't get so attached to your gear. You - will - die - again. It happens. Learn to let go, and see it as a chance to improve your tactics as a fresh spawn. Note: I had completely full packs of food, 3 med kits, all camo gea with tac vests, .45 caliber with 3 mags, fulled spec'd out M4. And I jumped to my death on purpose. It's just gear. You'll find more.
  6. There is a bug where the gas lamps only work right on the server which you looted them, or so I read.

Possible solution to KOS, hear me out

Welcome to the apocalypse. Leave your kiddie shoes at the door. Seriously, what makes this game so intense (and therefore thrilling) is knowing that every other player is as nervous as I am when I'm foraging around town. Perma-death makes this so. I've never gotten such visceral feelings while playing a game before. Well, maybe from Amnesia - but this blows that out of the water because in DayZ the monster is actually - another survivor. (Unless they are your friend, but sometimes your friends become enemies too. Such is life during the apocalypse.) If there was no risk of danger (and hence no reason to get excited or scared) then this game would have been boring after the first couple of hours. Spending an hour running around look for cans of beans and ammo is kind of mundane. But the fear of running into another survivor who might want to steal my stuff, and the sense of accomplishment of managing to stay alive for more than a week - makes it all worthwhile - especially when it can all be snatch away with a bullet to the back at any moment. The reason DayZ [Alpha] made so much money the first week, is because those experiences are what it offers. People say they hate KOS, when ironically fear of being killed-on-site is what makes the game so exciting.
