I was wondering if someone had came up with this, which is good! Because it is a good idea. Its realistic, and just adds to the immersion. I really don't know what you guys are getting at, it is a bit confusing. Basically, you would of course holster what you have while eating. The point of the L Hand / R Hand is so that you can hold multiple objects realistically in your hands, such as a handgun / flashlight or handgun / handgun or even hatchet (if they ever add one, it would be a shortened splitting axe) / bag, etc etc

I hope they at least think about it- Dean appears to enjoy Zomboid and they've been taking ideas from that game. You can hold a plastic bag and an axe in Zomboid, the axe being a bit less effective but the bag providing carrying space. It is really handy, realistic, and makes you feel as if you can actually get creative with holding stuff. Plus, it would allow people to choose how they hold their weapons. Everyone holds their guns in DayZ in the perfect, most reliable way, but what if I want to go around rockin' a stylin' M1911 in one hand without giving a single shit about using my other hand to help myself aim? Sure, I'm putting myself at a disadvantage, but I get to have a bit of style with how I combat others. Nothing like executing someone with only one hand on the pistol, really.

Not really. You're underestimating .22. It is a small bullet, and won't kill someone in one shot (unless you aim for the head, which I'll get to in a moment), but it should at least cause a bit of damage. See, if you're shot in the chest with a .22 or any sort of bullet, you will bleed. It doesn't matter the caliber, if you get shot, there is going to be some blood you're going to have to stop from pumping out of your newly acquired gunshot wound. Now, if you get shot in the head with a .22, its going to rattle around in your brains and completely demolish that noggin of yours. So, yeah, aim for the head with the .22.
